Right just found out iv got a new flat its just a studio apartment so nothing flashy etc but i just have a few questions on the internet....
What would you personally say is the best ISP?
(if anyone says tiscali i will personally find you and make sweet sweet love to your cables so you can never again use there evil service)
Remember im not exactyly rich so all in one tv and internet packages are no good for me, im talking internet only.
Price, speed and reliability are the main things i want to know about.
Also these pay as you go internet dongle things....Are they any good?
Are they uber slow?
Does the credit on them go immensly fast?
If i was recording vocals in WAV format would uploading them for producers absolutly burn my credit?

I'm a 3 customer and very happy one at that..
the dongles are ok, i've got 2 both of which are on ebay.. one ending sunday and at the min at like 12.. they cost over 30 brand new..
3 do a starter package for 99, you get ya dongle & 12gb of data to use after that its 10 for 1gb... which if you use it for everything other than streaming or downloading will last a month and can be used in your mobile too

not sure if 3 do 15gb for 15 anymore, it is on contract tho that deal..
3 do a little deal thing aswell.. recommend a friend, i know we aint friends but, if i recommend you, then you get 30 off your bill as i would, just a thought if you go with them

Hmmm see iv always had a problem with limited internet because i do download alot of sets, past wrestling videos, shows iv missed, and i watch a HELL of aslot of south park online. Plus im always sending vocals back and forth and getting preview tracks sent back and forth and stuff so i always assumed id be using it too much.
But if its a dongle i could be tempted, cause its just SO much less hassle than all the installing and waiting around and stuff......
Hmmm any other thoughts people?

Dongles are useless. You need to live right by a aerial antenna just to get a good speed and even then the upload/download speed is shit.
And if it's 15gb a month then I'd be amazed it'd last one week, you'd be surprised how much bandwidth you can use in that time.
Just go with BT, they seem to be pretty good and reliable these days and they also have a good download/upload speed.
Another thing is, don't go with Orange worst ISP ever.
Also talktalk bought tiscali, could be why your service is so shit recently.

Yea i download that too but on my mobile. What u have to bare in mind is these dongles arnt ment for downloading the gb cap & speeds tell u that

I beg to differ that they are shit =]
I was with Vodafone first CONSTANTLY overcharged me, Orange Crap signal everywhere
Now I am with T mobile who I thought had crap signal but this dongle is amazing, If I go over which I rarely do I don't get charged more, I just can't do things like watch large videos on youtube between 4pm and midnight [peak time] and always 15

Tbh i dont think a dongles gonna work for me. I have to be able to send and recieve files 24/7. Damn producers lol! And i truly think id use the limit up way before i was sposed to. Also i was only really on about pay as you go dongles, if im gonna be payin monthly i may aswell just get proper internet tbh.....
