I did this remix way before it got to number 1, I heard it on the radio and loved the track, and I simply wanted to do a remix because I liked it. Not to release it, not to change the world, but simply because I liked it. Of course the breakdown is just the original track, but there was no acapella available for it at the time, and I actually really wanted the original section in there as a contrast to the hardcore aspect.
It's totally understandable and fair enough if you don't like it, but it's a bit strange copping flack for simply having a bit of fun in my studio by myself! No problem though, I get it :)
In regards to me speeding up my Technikal tracks and then they become Technikore tracks, that's something I did used to do years ago (Everyday - I actually did that project 3 years ago now!). I endeavour to keep my Technikal and Technikore projects totally separate now and wouldn't go out of my way to cut corners like that in the present or future.

See, I knew the mainpart was the original! Yeah, but that's no prob, I agree with you that it gives the Hardcore track some contrast, I actually just said that because archefluxx commentend on Soundcloud that he wishes he had an acapella ;-) Don't really like the synth in the mainpart tho..
And the thing with speeding up tracks.. well tbh I haven't heard much of your Technikore stuff but (at the time) I thought your Technikal Tracks had more quality, and I prefered them over most of your Hardcore tracks! However tracks like My Intention or especially Bring Me Home still impressed me :-)
So let's be honest, that Everyday Hardcore "remix" is really terrible But the Hard House track is sooo good, I love it ;) I don't like the synth in the Hardcore one.. I think all of your Hard Trance/Hard House stuff is amazing, tracks like Supersonic are just immense!!

i actually first heard the original track like an hour before reading this forum to find out there's a hardcore remix of it! the lyrics have the making of what could be a pretty damn good hardcore track, but the vocals themself to me just don't fit it. maybe if there was a cover done by a totally different singer, maybe even a female singer, there would be something more to work with.
and the original is pretty creative imo better quality than most mainstream songs out there.

Heard the teknikore remix on soundcloud and it sounds wicked. Hadn't heard the original but the lyrics are good, the top line is good, the engineering is good, etc. The only weakness I can see with the track is the main lead. Its alright, I just think it could be more interesting. You might be limited by that chord progression though.
