Gonna share some photos I took of various graffiti from my recent trip to England. Some very cool stuff! These were all taken at the abandoned HMS Royal Arthur, Rudloe, somewhere in Bathford (I think :S Sorry if I got this wrong). I'll number them if you want to reference them.

There were tons more that I didn't get photos of and some still in progress.

Anyone else have any cool graffiti in their area or stuff they took pics of?

Haha the burger monster is great. So is the undersea one (DMT).

All the graffiti in the area where I live (northwest Arkansas) is entirely crap (oh look, crude drawings that look like they were drawn by a 5-year-old with a black marker). Sometimes even literally (there's a gang around here whose symbol seems to be a turd...)

Cheers.

Because gangsta's don't do art for the sake of art.

They do it for their gang.

Very nice artwork.

Why isn't graffiti in art galleries or museums? It's an art isn't it?

Because graffiti makers only want to paint where their not allowed, and moving buildings isnt really logistically possible.

Few from my city, really makes the scenery more pleasent for the eye, dont you think?

Yeah right. Its like every "art student" started using peoples houses as their practice area. Sure theres a few good ones, but when 99% is pure shit and ugly. Id rather have clean walls.

But these really are amazing! :-) see, these are the kind of graffiti people wouldn't mind, its when people start to be crude and writing swear words all over the place it niffs people off! lol..

And was this to tag territory for their gang, or did someone else do it?

I'm talking about the crap graffiti.

Yeah most of it is really ugly. Even the stuff that does look good would look FAR better if it was on canvas and not some building wall.
