You can always take the ACT out of school by yourself. When I took it, the district paid for it themselves so we didn't have to pay to take the ACT. But by all means you don't need to take it in school, they have places you can take the ACT for I think around $70 all around the country. I only got a 22 on mine (I didn't care then, I thought I was joining the Air Force), and I got into a pretty good private college for Computer Networking for my 2-year and 4-year.
A lot of private schools aren't so anal about it, to be honest. I could of easily gotten into two more technology based schools with the same score. But after checking their classes, and from family experience I chose the one I'm going too.

Well the college im going to start out at is like a junior college, then after like 6 months i get to go to a diff one, and that would be the "real college" it has 4 different schools in Illinois, has international students and international exchange programs too that go to like 20 different contraries...
But its not my fault i got kicked out at 14 lol

aren't you the one that had a bipolar disorder or something that made you fight every1 for every little thing? lol i kno i've got something in there wrong so feel free to correct me.
and yes you can go into a community college with a GED just to get rid of your basics. from there you can go to a real college/university, in fact it will probably be easier to get into the college you want this way b/c getting into the elite schools right after HS is very competitive.

But i think im doing well, im going to be 17 and going to uni, isnt that anything? Most people around here are 20+ just in junior college/freshmen... and my class dosent even graduate high school for 2-3 more years (2013)...

You're 17 and your class doesn't graduate for another 2-3 years? What is up with that? Did you fail before?
Just asking because I graduated at 17!

Wow, this was the most bluntly just ass hole post I've seen in awhile.
He isn't going to Community College, which by the way aren't THAT bad, and he told you where he's going. A University.
Considering he's still going to a college is saying something. So what if he got kicked out. Which, honestly, I think it pretty messed up because unless he almost killed him, a fight where I went was never an expulsion. At least he isn't moping around, doing nothing after being kicked out of school, and doing shit with his life.
That's more then most kids now a days.

But he's not going to the University straight up at first.
He has to: "Well the college im going to start out at is like a junior college, then after like 6 months i get to go to a diff one, and that would be the "real college"" which means he'll still be going through hoops for it.
And what happened to land of free, and everyone has an equal opportunity? If he's willing to do something with his life, then why complain? So h e got kicked out of school, but what if the area he's going into he's great at, and will benefit society in the whole?
It just sounds like you're pissed because maybe you didn't get into the school you wanted. And now you're mad he can get into a college through a special means of starting somewhere then transferring. It's really no different from going to Community then switching credits over, is it?
Give the kid a break, Jesus Christ. Again, at least he's doing something with his life! The school system is open to anyone that is willing enough to do what they have to get in. The way it SHOULD be.
