Compared to most kids who ARE dropping out, not the ones around you specifically. And they don't even have to be drop outs, it can be compared to people who do graduate, then go to community college at the most. And that's if they're willing enough to stop smoking, drinking, or doing weed, or other kinds of drugs, and doing something with their lives.

well ladida for them.
Jeezus.
Not every cookie comes from the same ****ing batch of dough. Just because someone didnt enter a wankfest doesn't mean he can't blow his load. Unlike some other people, universities realise this, and are willing to give people a run according to their strengths.

Don't know why some of you are on his case when he's going out of his way to go to school and doing something for his life. Since when is going to school, regardless if his school kicked him out for a fight, such a bad thing?
Doesn't mean he's retarded, going to fail out of college anyway, or any of that. We don't know what his grades where, how he did on his homework, etc. For all YOU know is he could be smarter then most of those kids that are graduating. Cut him a break, ffs.

Just asking because I graduated at 17!
Something happened and I miss a few months of 8th, so the failed me for missing the first part of school (bad car wreck) missed out, then i moved a few states away, got into 9th at 14, got into a fight, then they kicked me out.

I didn't drop out, i got kicked out.

All my grades where 3.5+, thank you very much.

They said I "hit him to many times", and the fact he fell on the ground, he was like 2-3 years older than me to, they over reacted, called the cops and kicked me out, he didn't even press charges.

Nope, i am not retarded, not at all. My IQ scores from a few years ago where really high, they where about 130-ish, and that was when i was 13. And on my GED all my scores (but one) where high, most in the 80+ percentile rank, so I think right there I prove my point.
Lorenzo, do you just have a cock up your ass or something? I didn't post this to be made fun of, i was just trying to see what everyone was up to, yeah i know i ****ed up a few years ago, but i'm making something of my life. Maybe your just mad that you got to endure more shit before a school will even accept you, i all ready have a plethora of schools wanting me to go to their school, I just got a lot of things to do at home before i move out, so just go troll someone else.
And thank you OneNOnly and Lilley, for not being an ass and trying to troll me.

if he did, he'd be in a really good mood! j/k of course tweak
so pretty much it wasn't an anger management problem, it was just a bully that wouldn't stop harrassing you?
i had a similar experience when i was in kindergarden or 1st grade, but don't remember well. but what my parents told me is i had a 5th grade bully that would make fun of me and i just got fed up with it. i was told i jumped on him, he fell over, then i started beating the crap out of him.
but yea if you're pushed too hard, things happen. and yea they did overreact if you had no previous record of violence.
but what matters is that u got urself on the right track, education-wise.

Same, but I was in 3rd grade, and I dropped kicked the kid. And only got got by getting caught by the teacher righting a note to him saying F-U-C before she caught me. xDD
And I honestly think Lorenzo is mad from past experiences. Atomsk didn't drop out to do drugs, he didn't dropout to sell drugs or join gangs, or do illegal things. It's different from dropping out, and getting kicked out. I don't think he knows the difference, maybe that's why he's having a hard time finding a college..

No, it isn't. Maybe in "school terms", but the reason are completely different.
He didn't drop out because he couldn't stand school, he didn't drop to join a gang, or do/sell drugs. He got KICKED out because he was in a fight, and his grades where good throughout the process before. So they might be the same in the eyes of the school, but to anyone who isn't just plain ignorant it's different.

Yep he was a bully, and around here people talk crap and dont do anything. Like i'll try and break it down what happened.
He started out saying stuff around the school, and that didnt bother me, then he started saying stuff right in front of me and i got pissed. Then he started doing it over email/myspace/facebook, calling me names and shit, so i told him to stop, he didnt, told him i would fight him tomorrow, called me more names. So the next day i saw him in the halls, i let my stuff fall on the ground, he saw me, then i walked up and hit him in the face as hard as i could... (keep in mind, im 6foot 3inchs, about 200lbs, he was 5foot 6inchs about 160lbs), he tried to stay up, but he fell then i walked over and started hitting him as hard as i could and saying crap like "whos the faggot now" ect... the got it on the security cameras and said i hit him to many times and stuff, i had to go to the hospital cuz i thought i broke my hand, the cops took me home, the school kicked me out, 3 year later here i am
Like my story?

How so?
I wanted to go back to school, but i couldnt in the county im in, and i couldnt move so i went and studied for my ged, because thats the only thing i could do, then i went on the look-out for a job. I still wish i could go back to school.
So i think that right there shows you that im not a drop out, i got expelled from the schools in the county..

Here you cant get kicked out if you're in primary school. If you're e.g. someone with serious ADHD or just a general ******* (and prevent other students from learning), they'll transfer you to a special attention school. Where theres fewer students and stricter rules.

Lol Lorenzo... I used to be the same way.
I was an A student, graduated high school two days after my 16th birthday with a 4.6 GPA and already done with the first semester of college up through calculus II. Didn't get in at MIT or CalTech, so I'm at my back up school (Illinois Tech) majoring in physics/premed.
Even at my backup school where I thought I would be coming in better than everyone else, I'm struggling to maintain a 3.5. College is a different world, and you're going to find out the hard way if you don't tone it down before you get there.
Also you should pay more attention to what Atom is saying before you just bitch slap him like that. (Atom, you should avoid the rest of this post if you're easily offended ;)) Computer programming takes little to no skill, as long as you spend the time learning it, anyone, and I mean ANYONE can do it, also junior college is a joke, which is good considering he hasn't been in school for 3 years and needs to ease back into the rhythm, then he can move on to a community college, and ultimately a real university. So long as he sticks with it there's nothing wrong with that, and he'll be able to find a reasonable job and support a family. We can't all sprint straight through school, become doctors and make six figure salaries, some people have to struggle their way through and make their own path.
(Atom, you can tune back in now, lol) Getting a GED can be a very positive thing if one does it before they would have gotten a diploma (like Atom apparently did, though graduating at 20 seems pretty off). I was considering getting it when I was 15 just so I could move on with my life and get out of high school, decided to take college courses senior year instead while they were obscenely cheap. I think that so long as Atom sticks with this plan and doesn't get kicked out of the series of schools hes going to have to attend he'll do just fine and enjoy his life, even though he's had a rocky start.
Keep with it, Atom :D

I disagree with the programming point, you need a good grasp of logical progression to be able to program with any skill at all. The next challenge is using as minimal code as possible, not all that easy really.

But i never said i was doing programing as my major, did i?
Im going for network engineering, information and communication technology, wireless networking and network security, with programing and website design and a minor in photography/audio. I could care less about the money, its something i like doing so thats all i need.
And the junior college thing is only so i dont need me ACT's (i dont have the $40 to take it atm) then i go for a few months then im in a "real" college, im only going for 4 years for communications and stuff.

Noy sure what you meant about the "graduating at 20" thing, are you talking about my class? They would be 17-18 when my class would grad or your talking about to college kids? lol
Anyways, i couldn't take my ged till i was 17, thats the only reason why i didn't take it sooner, if i could i would have it at 13.
I got most things planed out lol. Will get this all done with, then hopefully moving out of the states when im about 21 to japan, if not then i might join the army...
