^^^ Good point but I will be one of those making 'one or two songs' I will make Hsardcore as though it is the 90s because I want to and I have a passion for it. Just in the same way all the 'top guns' are making 2005 sounding Hardecore as thats what they enjoy. I know good Hardcore when I hear it and I will betermind to make my own
Peace

I have then made it my mission to destroy an post-1995 technology

can i tell you something, since you dont believe todays Hardcore isnt any good.
If todays Hardcore isnt at all good, people shouldnt like it all, right, and the record companies should stop selling this stuff, right?
BUT THEY ARENT!
Hardcore is selling like crazy, its like The Twilight Saga :P People love this stuff!
Hardcore is coming out because it is popular. Or it would die like it did in the 90s, but its not.
So you have to realize Hardcore is better then it was in the 90s.
Also realize you are the only one in the forums who is promoting Old Skool Hardcore, and whys that? Cuz your stuck in the past.
Yeah what Smoogie is saying is quite amusing. Why if Clubland does in fact die out does it leave room for old skool to come back. Old Skool is in the past.
In saying that I'm still big fan of the old skool sound. Check out this for some DJ Storm (Al Storm) classics!
http://www.serioussounds.net/shop.php/24/7-classics/24/7-classics-new-releases/rock-the-party-1999-/p_1726.html Big fan of Storm's older sound - hadn't heard Rock that party or the Get Busier remix before - sounding great. There's a few more not heard also.

Hmm....so DJ Storm - Get Busier (Fade & Banaman Remix) on Serious Sounds which actually should be Blitz & Banaman remix is the same as the youtube video you linked to Hard2Get. Was bit surprised though when heard this remix as it sounded more like Storm that Blitz & Banaman's sound. So is this actually the original? Not heard before until now. The version I'd heard before was the Album Mix that DJ Storm did for the 1997 Hardcore Heaven Vol 2 comp. It's the best version in my opinion.

Actually Vibes did that mix (great CD! The whole series is better than the Bonkers series imo); the one that's in that mix is the Bananaman & Blitz remix and the one i linked you to is the original. No idea why they are named incorrectly.

Yeah I know Vibes did the mix that the tune was in. I meant DJ Storm did the exclusive album remix of Get Busier for the comp. So the remix was actually by Blitz & Banaman, you sure bout this?

Sorry when you said mix i thought you meant CD mix. I'm fairly sure yes but i will verify it. I actually don't know anything about the labeling or why it's the way it is, all i know is that one of the songs has Storm's production all over it and the other does one; when you really know Storms production from the time then it's fairly obvious which is which because of the sounds he used etc.

Broken ****ing record.
I've seriously never had anything against you smoogie, other than you're mildly annoying sometimes... But seriously, i don't think i've seen you post an opinion on something that hasn't involved 90's hardcore. Live outside your ****ing comfort zone man, sheesh!
Yes, some old skool was good... That's about it. That's all that needs to be said.
The only other insight i've seen to your life is your 'girlfriend' problems. I want to know more about smoogie, i'm sick of hearing "old skool blah blah blah" or "blah blah blah old skool". You MUST have more to your personality than that.
While i understand that this is a forum, and you're entitled to post whatever the **** you want, it's just a basic observation and request.

Out of curiosity, what was the highest charting hardcore songs in forever?

I think everyone knows that commercial success is not a reflection of quality.
