this seems to be a long tradition in any sort of rave scene, when you bluetack up flyers of raves you've been to on your bedroom wall.
sadly, I'm a bit of an introvert and have only been to like 4 events, but I imagine you guys get out alot.
Anyone wanna share some pics of their walls? I know it's a pride thing!

4 events??? I thought '95 was the time!? I'd expect you to have a bunch of rave relics about! Shameful!

I'm really disappointed! I thought he was a jaded super raver in his 40s. This is all too much to take in =(

unfortunately i havent gone to any until recently and i was never really that big of a flyer person. hopefully we get some posts of walls with a lot of flyers on here

Oh I did put up a flyer wall when I started partying, back in 2003! It lasted a couple of years, but I took it all down eventually and kept the flyers in a box with other raving attire. I never took a picture of it though. I used to stick the rave tickets to their corresponding flyers as well.

I went to a few 'raves' in 2007 but it was hardly like going to a Fantazia in 1992 or Rez in 1994 or Thunderdome in 1995 so the flyer ended up in the bin.

I thought you would have been out to loads of places too! I don't think it's fair to say things like darren styles is killing hardcore if you haven't even seen him live or even been to a rave in recent months! When I listen to "bang yer head off" at my PC I think "meh" but when a DJ drops it live I'm yelling out "YEEAAAAHHHH" in time with it and having a great old stomp, and I think I've only ever got drunk or had a drink at 1 or 2 raves ever!
Point being there is a lot to say for the atmosphere a tune creates rather than how it sounds on home speakers! Get yourself out there and you will probably find much more to love about hardcore! And if not, get yourself into the old skool rooms, that's where you'll find me most of the time!
