We do. Some places let you have another day off instead. Depends on who is in charge I guess

I would NOT like a factory job! Nobody to talk to, nothing bright and colourful to look at! Ideally I wanna get a job in a sweet shop part time to see me through uni!! Or cyberdog!

I've never really had a "real job" and I'm glad that's so. I'm happy doing freelance work for now even if it might not pay as much, it's fun and effective practice. I'm on a semi-joking mission to avoid proper employment until I graduate college now, haha. Then it's career all the way.

There's a cybercandy near me that sells american and japanese import sweets! And they always play Perfume and Capsule on the CD player and I reckon they'd let me wear my cat ears there because the manager is really cool! I'd love to work there! All the colours!!! *___*

And I'm doing GAME - Games and Multimedia Environments at uni, I don't actually play any video games apart from pokemon and a few others but I'm interested in the music production side of the course!!

I bet you are

A post up a bit joking about not working through uni. I'm in the same boat except completely serious. Some degrees are for lazy shits, other arent. Mine is one of those. Currently I'm at uni between 5 and 7 days a week, normally about 10-12 hours a day. Job just isnt an option. Yay for bludging off government.

Anyhow, favourite casual job is one I had twice until I got fired because of overstaffing (and I pissed off area manager so it was me that got the cut) was working for a music store. Nothing really beats it. Working in a motorcycle accessories store would be pretty cool though.

That sounds like a well fun course.
If I were to get a job in a sweet shop I think I would actually implode.. that would be amazing.

I have finished my first week at work now and it feels rewarding. I don't have to be in until Wednesday unless I sort out some extra hours.
