I'd say France, they go on strike if they don't like a TV programme over there, and within a week the government caves in!

Switzerland has direct democracy, which gives the people there a lot more power then in other countries.

None. Freedom is not something that can be granted.

That is a country, and it has borders. Regardless of how it goes on in there, once you get to the border there are rules to adhere to.

It's my understanding that all countrys use money, banks + army's to control the populous.
Regardless of how governments, pirates, monerchy or any head figure runs the country, all countrys are exactly the same.
When people use the word 'freedom' i feel thats a bogus word to use, cause really there is no freedom there is only limited social interactions that are acceptable.
Dont take that as 'awww kosmic's saying its ok to kill people!!!' NO LOL
The definition of 'freedom' is : the power to act/speak/think without externally imposed restraints
So weather you live in a Communist/Democratic/Socialist/Anarchist society makes no diffrence to your own personal freedom.

Sorry for the long windedness i have to explain this so my words wont be taken out of context
So in answer to the question....None
Waits for the backlash....

Obviously no countries are 'free' as such. I was just asking who has the most freedom. As you said to act/speak/think. I was referring to constraints such such as corrupt government/media, unjust laws, lack of power from the people etc...
