I think its an attack on Paypal, not on peoples funds. They are just tryng to cripple the site to make a point, not so much for financial bonus.

thankfully everythings in order on mine

Wilky, it was just an attack on the website front end, thousands of people DDos'ed it for the last few days. Visa on the other hand got ****ed over, during the DDos'ing some Russian group got into Visa's like database or some shit, pulled like 3+ gigs of card numbers, they leaked like only 1/5 of it online.

And what Mr.Acid said, it was to make a point. A few other sites were hit also, some as followed: Sarah Palin website, CNN (didnt go down, but was hit hard), Visa, Paypal, Amazon (its on the list, but it might not happen as they are set up differently and have more severs), Facebook(was on the list also, but same as Amazon, it might not happen), Twitter (it was take off after they got scared shitless and brought back "#Wikileaks" and a few other hash's).

There were many more, and I believe it will keep going for a while, even a Swedish ******* website is backing this movement up. People from around the world are too, I'm not joking from North America to Brazil to China to Africa to Australia.
Dont **** off the internet lol.

It's always best to have your money on hand, shit is bad now.

what benefit does anyone have to gain out of doing any of this?

you know you lead a pretty poor life when your idea of excitement is hacking well-known websites for fun and "haha's"

^This.

While I generally disagree with quite a number of posts Wikileaks have put up, especially when in some of them they didn't take the time to erase any names, or just put up plain retarded things, what they're trying to do is good. And these people are standing up to the United States, who you KNOW is pushing these companies to drop support, or the companies drop support out of fear.

Before, standing up to the governments trying to shut someone down would require massive gatherings. Now? A few dozen, if not more, hackers can actually stand up to sites. Of course, this all has negative sides to, i.e. cards getting leaked.

I would go to a pub, but guess what.... I cant drink over here for another 4 years. I cant risk getting my license taken away right now either, so underage drinking isnt on my to do list right now.
Btw in the area I'm in if you get caught drinking under the age of 21, you get your license taken away for like 6 months to a year.

Not sure if you are saying its a good thing or a bad thing this has happened.. I think of this whole thing like this..
If they are so mad that it got leaked, then they need to fix their own security. How hard is it to keep documents off the internet, even I know how to do that. It's all just crap anyways, I think it was just another setup but the us government, just trying to be the "Father of the world" like we have always tried to be.
