What I would do is look for the lesser known Djing talent thats about.....along with the lesser known producers.....and give them a whack at it......It's always great to hear fresh people gettin a break into the scene...

Human beings, vegetables, or comic dust, we all dance to a mysterious tune, intoned in the distance by an invisible player.

Who discovered we could get milk from cows, and what did he THINK he was doing at the time?

cd1: Mixxed by Kev Energy b2b Sharkey
cd2: Dougal feat. the 15 min live P.A from the last Uproar at the Sanctuary(that was too sick!"
cd3: By the legendary Scott Brown and myself, track selection for this would be along the lines of a normal Scott Brown set with a few Quosh and "Essential Platinum techno selects"!! such as Crack Whore or Xtreme.

This is Xtreme!! sickening...

Well, I've already done this once ( RFUCD001 ) and am in the process of doing another ( TBA ) but I'm going to assume that for this particular project I would be freed of all financial and political constraints?

In which case I'd do what, in fact, I'm still hoping to do at some point in the future.

4 CDs. 3 mixed, 1 unmixed.

6 DJs, covering a broad range of styles and pushing new talent ( in both DJ and production sense ) 1/2 a CD each.

So, one possibility might be:

CD1 - Sy / Gammer
CD2 - Darwin / Ruffage
CD3 - Dodgee / Uplift
CD4 - Unmixed ( some exclusive material included )

Then, ensure it was properly marketed, stocked in mainstream stores, and featured artwork that was actually at least vaguely mature and professional.

I'd also ensure that the majority of material had not featured on previous compilations ( or others out at around the same time ) and that at least some of it was unheard until the albums release.

You're the light, inside, I know.
No-one else can feel my soul,
Without you I'm helpless."

Thats a very good choice there switchback mate think someone should make that happen. Look out for more material from Dave Conway as well mate "brazzdisk" is a tune and a half, the boys a good friend of mine and when i say theres plenty more to come i mean it and some of his other productions are even better imo. regarding compilations not gonna try and think in too deep but along the lines of tryin to show many different sides of the u.k scene, then bonus 3 deck session makina session from pastis + buenri.

Venga familia!!!
