TBH, i never watched much of the dubbed series that were made by that company. But they were pretty awful throughout the show. When i was a kid we had Super Channel (NBC) so watched a lot of cartoons with english dubs rather then finnish. Cause they had better shows :P

anime has some terrible dubs, just try to upgrade some of the manga (vhs) classics like 3x3 eyes & the guyver to DVD & your met with different voices that really do not make the grade compared to the originals
as for shite animation, hate to say it but Battle of the planets (g-force) was terrible

it will never be 100% perfect. even the well-known ones had some of the most awkward moments that didn't even make sense!

lol if i remember correctly that episode was redone in order for it to be US friendly! and the US friendly episode was terrible!
they completely eliminated james' crossdressing parts so that he can win that beach girl trophy and changed a few other things around, like instead of her mom winning that trophy for that contest, she got it in honor of ash's actions in saving the beach or something like that from team rocket
i was actually referring more to translations that didn't make sense, or they just didn't make sense with the body language of the characters, but yea redoing episodes to the extent of that pokemon 1 just for the sake of the US market is really is a waste.

Pokemons so great. Or at least it was. Cant believe its still runing. I dont think ivewatched pokemon since the first run of orange islands ones.
When did the hardcore community become so swamped with anime lovers?

when something cute & cuddly comes along, how can you not resist pikachu and pokemon? lol
but yea we get our peaks of anime from time and again, i think it all started with dragonball
but also it's cheaper to purchase animes and dub them in english than to have an american cartoon created, especially if those american cartoons don't gain any popularity.
