MDMA to me sounds like the first breakdown in Rainbow Islands by Seb. "Rainbow Islaaaaannndssss" dreamily echoing out around you as you look around at all the rainbow lights with stars in your eyes and your mouth like :OOOOOOO and "heavenheavenheavenheaven" rushing through your mind. Thank you Druid for giving me an experience I will never, ever forget.
That's also the sound/visuals you experience when a unicorn jumps over you, I've heard.

Definitely, during that song (Was played at the last Freeformation by Druid) I ran around like an aeroplane singing the lyrics until some guy came up to me with a water pistol and a smiley face t-shirt, gave me a different water pistol and we ran around the rave shooting them at each other before singing along "THIS. IS. BONKERRSSSSS!!" to the next tune...brilliant set and one of those real Happy Hardcore moments.

I think if the producers agree with the hardcore, they have to do their jobs.
But it seems unfair is the symbol of the hardcore is: Breeze, Darren, And Futureworld, WHY?, We are hardcore producers too and wee need to be in the scene too ,,
I am Pex L, and i go to produce Uk hardcore forever, because this is music, and this is not a fashion, this is a passion,
not understand too because gammer, put in his twitter: Why the all people have a label? the hardcore is not a marketing is a passion, And We Reply: You stay in the scene , we are the shit! ;)
is law of life..
I love Uk Hardcore and i will love this forever :)

LOL. Surreal. Don't think you'd find that kind of thing at a HTID.

This is the type of hardcore that pissed me of in the 90's and many others! But thats the point of the music in many ways, so many styles to love or hate! We are lucky to have the choice! We still do now, no matter what people say!

If you haven't already, check out my kandy kid mixtape on youtube, it's an hour and thirty minutes of this super cheesy super awesome dutch happy hardcore.
And yeah, last time I went to Raver Baby someone spat in my face just because I dressed differently, those raves are full of thugs and nasties. Even if there's one set worth catching it's not worth literally running the risk of being stabbed for one set, that's why I don't go to those raves.

I knew raves were not particulaly friendly anymore but i had no idea things were that awful, jesus, lol, that is completely unnaceptable anywhere in life, much less a rave.

Personally I'd spit on your face too lol
Never liked the kandy kid thing, and never will. The US is full of them, and I can't do anything but tolerate them. I find them to be some of the most ignorant and misinformed ppl that really know nothing of anything that has to do with their favorite genre.
Although not every kandy kid is completely oblivious, but those that aren't are pretty scarce. To me wearing the excessive bracelets, childish backpacks and outfits covered in flashy crap at raves is no different than the overly dressed douchebags at a club. What you wear means nothing, and you just be yourself. and be comfortable too.

I wouldnt spit in peoples face unless they deserved it. I would distinguish who to spit and and who not to by how they dress, clearly unlike Latin. What a stupid thing to say you idiot.

What you wear is self expression, I come from a place where there are zero kandy kids and I was dressing in phat pants with beaded bracelets before I even knew what a kandy kid was...so that pretty much is me, take it or leave it. People can dress how they want at raves as far as I'm concerned whether they're overdressed or kandied up.
What a complete lack of manners though, I've noticed you don't like Americans to be stereotyped as ignorant and rude but you seem to be showing a good example of that behaviour yourself, I'm not one to tar everyone with the same brush but I sadly feel you might be part of that minority yourself.

I'm sorry to hear that Neko! Whatever happened to the P.L.U.R. at Happy raves? I thought this is what the music is all about? Isn't it meant to be 'Happy Rave' Music? and Brian K. I can accept that you don't like Para Doxa's music. You must be more accustomed to the UK Breakbeat music. I love Breaks but I also love the Hard kicks and beats. Peace out ravers...

There's never quite been "PLUR" at UK raves terminology-wise but most ravers used to get on quite well and everyone was there to appreciate the music. That's definitely changed now and while I didn't expect to be running around hugging people at Raver Baby, I certainly didn't expect to be spat on. I hadn't even talked to the guy or knew who he was or anything, he just looked me up and down, spat in my face and then laughed.
I'm not sure what kind of person would think that is an acceptable thing to do but I just shook my head and said "That's not cool" and went to the bathroom to wash it off. Needless to say I didn't go to any HTID/Raver Baby type events after that, I had people trying to rip my kandy off at other events and cigarette burn my backpack for a laugh. I wouldn't encourage anyone to go to these big raves, the one time Shimamura came over to rave at Westfest he had his wallet pickpocketed. It's a no-go area for normally dressed people too and disappoints me that these people call themselves 'ravers'.
