Who will break through to join the upper ranks? whoever is best at electro/dubcore ( thats not sarcasm btw )

What will the scene look like by the end of 2012? not sure, id like to see it going underground again

What are your personal (hardcore related) wishes and goals for the year? personal wish, see previous answer . personal goal, erm just enjoy the music and try not to get involved in all the shitty politics

Big DJs: Re-Con, Sqaud-E, and Al Storm

Break through: Modulate

By the end of 2012: This electro/dub style will continue for the majority of the year, but I would like to hope that the happier side of Hardcore will begin to make a comeback mid-year, and will be emerged by the end of 2012. I think Gammer's hard house influence will quickly be weeded out and, with Dougal, will return to their "Get Hype" & "One & Only" style of Hardcore. I woud like to see Sqaud-E make a comeback this year. Re-Con would be aweosme if he would stop stiffling his imagination for tracks.

Squad-E, really? Isn't he pretty much out of the business now? I don't even recall him being featured on the last cxh, though I could be wrong. He's been very quiet as of late, what makes you think he's coming back?

I think we'll see more breakthrough artists given a fair crack at the whip.

Doubt it will ever get underground again. It will probably split up in 2. The newstyle and the hardcore. I believe that Clubland XH8 will sell enough even with alot of "ravers" not buying it, cause I believe people who are interested in dubstep might take a peek into it. And if we are lucky, they might want to know more about real HARDCORE ;)

And splitting the scene might work well for the dubcore crew. Heck, wasn't 90% of dutch Happy Hardcore produced by, like 6 people?

2nd that Andy Dee comment.

Freeform seems to be finding its feet, I also hope breakbeat will get more attention.

Squad-E hasn't left the scene. In fact, he's got his artist album due out on Twista this year.

2012 for me will be very good. Lots going on.
Breeze, Styles, Modulate & Petruccio >> Doing their thing.
Hixxy (According to his posts) bringing the "rave" back into the scene. I'm sure Gammer has a Muffin album coming out.
HU crew doing a little bit of everything. (Entity is one to watch this year) and there's loads of albums planned from them, as well as regular MP3 releases.
Freeform getting back to it's best with lnew artist albums (inc one from Arkitech etc) planned. Obviously more albums from Rebuild.
CLSM with the whole breakbeat revolution. Albums, tracks etc all flowing nicely.

The fantastic thing about Vladels vaguely directed tiriade is that he's lashing out at one of the few camps who might listen, whilst absolutely slating those who might endeavour to act on his judgements,

We'll do a lot this year, but I can safely say he'll hate it all as his "input" can never be that.

- Clubland hardcore 9 will be 3 disks of a long continous fart noise. TRUE
- Breeze will become housebound as his head will be too big to get out of his front door. TRUE
- HU6 will feature 4 disks of 35+ tracks a disc with an average of 2 mins a track and 70% will be fracus and darwin. FALSE
- The new style will destroy all that is musical within the scene. TRUE
- the independant small labels will be where the good music is. TRUE
- Olly thumpa will save the scene. FALSE
- Dubstep will become so gay and stale it will fit hardcore utterly. TRUE
- Scott brown will nearly make a track. FALSE (But he'll be around)
- Brisk will make a load of cracking tunes and not release them. TRUE
- Compilations will suck even more than they have this year which is only surpassed by 2001/2002. FALSE
- Eufeion and entity will be the shining lights for anyone who likes their hardcore with some muscial influence. FALSE (Entity will be the musical shing light, Eufeion's stuff has been utterly disappointing since he signed FW imo)
- Gabba will again kick the arse out of hard/dub/electrocore. It's such a gabba year for me. FALSE

Who will break through to join the upper ranks?

What will the scene look like by the end of 2012?

What are your personal (hardcore related) wishes and goals for the year?

Try and be positive please!

Who do you think will be the big dj's/producers of the year? No idea. Probably some one along the lines of Mob, Modulate, Petruccio etc.

Who will break through to join the upper ranks? See above.

What will the scene look like by the end of 2012? Exactly the same as it is now.

What are your personal (hardcore related) wishes and goals for the year? As far as the current scene goes I have no wishes. I just don't care what it does now as it's not the same scene or music that I once enjoyed. As for me personally I hope to continue learning how to make music and push the sound I want to and my website. Rather than moaning I'm doing something.

Who do you think will be the big dj's/producers of the year?
Sick of people saying P&M, they already broke through with their Our Sound album and Breeze and shit backing them and HTID backing them, not a big fan of them myself. Anyway, I think Hixxy might have a good year, I'm taking a rough guess that the 2nd half of Styles' year might be good as far as tracks go. Sy, Unknown, Technikore.

Who will break through to join the upper ranks?
Not necessarily join the upper ranks but I see a few guys getting much more popular - Chaos, Ganar and Archefluxx. Chaos and Archefluxx have been pumping out some great stuff recently and while Ganar's took a bit of time off, his stuff before then was great and he was starting to get quite well known. But they're the 3 names that are standing out to me atm!

What will the scene look like by the end of 2012? Way too early to tell, it can go several ways and there's no way of telling which way it'll go. It could go to shit and become overrun by dubshite, it could revolute(lol?) and become great again... orrr it could split in half.

What are your personal (hardcore related) wishes and goals for the year?
I'd like to start pushing my tracks a bit more, recording some original work and generally becoming a bit more professional about it rather than sticking bootlegs up on Soundcloud every month and hoping people enjoy. I do want to get some form of an album out by the end of the year (most likely free) just to showcase some of my better tracks in a single download.

I'd also like to attend plenty more raves, and possibly meet some peeps from on here at some?

I doubt Ganar or Archefluxx will. Ganar might produce the right stuff, but Archefluxx has the wrong mindset for it. Archefluxx is against how the top tier does things and I'm all for him. Plus he's music isn't the same standard tbh
