Skimmed through the noms and I'm ecstatic that Music Blocks is up for track of the year! I say we all throw our votes that way and try to pull an upset victory for Darwin and Fracus!
Have to think about the rest of them though. Also a bit gutted that kevin energy isn't nominated for lifetime achievement!

strange theres a few names ive never heard of on there like 'hatblinde' and 'matduke'
can anyone shed some light on who these are must of missed these ones.

They managed to spell my name wrong unfortunately (it happens very often) I'm mainly involved in the Japanese Hardcore scene.

Hahaha outstanding contribution to Sharkey for leaving the scene and slapping everyone who wanted his tunes and album in the face due to a very lame reason? No thank you. Why is he even there on the list, I wonder?
Best track of the year? Music Blocks, definitely. Everyone should vote for that, but I guess Styles fan boys are gonna vote one of his tunes best of the year... again.

ugh why the hell vote for a track that hasn't been released yet???
In fact I think half of them on there haven't been released. Not to say anything is wrong with the track, but it would be nice to make it a rule that the tracks have to be available to the public for personal purchase.

Because it's no longer the outstanding contribution award, it's the lifetime achievement award. So regardless of how Sharkey left the scene, if you vote for him it would be voting for all that he's done for the hardcore scene while active.

I'm absolutely buzzing that we've managed to get Stomp in for the best breakthrough event category - it's a real big achievement for us considering despite the odd big headliner we mainly support proper underground acts (by that I mean real DJ and production talent - not just bedroom DJ's who play a full set of last year's anthems and bring a load of mates along)... we're really lucky to have such a good bunch of supporters 
I found the upcoming DJ/producer and international categories were a little bit disheartening (no Shimamura or JD-KiD?!) - that's not to say there aren't a few names on there who really deserve to be in there, because there are - I'm just bemoaning a lack of strength in depth which shows there's still a lot of work to be done at grass roots level... it's a funny old game 
All in all though some very worthy names up there and it's got potential to be a very positive awards this year... as Thumpa said, deffos make your votes count!

Nothing against Hixxy or Raverbaby or eighter HTID but I find pretty ironic to find "Raverbaby" as a label nominee, when they've released nothing this year. OK, HTID has got his label running on TID, but isn't representing Raverbaby afaik.
Anyway I agree with somebody that told that, Music Blocks should win the awards as Track Of The Year. But also if Darren Styles "Satellite" or Gammer's "Nostalgia" or even Technikore's "Lights Down Low" gets this, I wouldn't be sad, they're nice tracks.

Seeing so much HU int here makes me happy. I voted for Fracus - Module in the original poll but it's really good to see Music Blocks in there.
I'm a bit shocked that Shimamura didn't make it in too.

Good to see at least some progress is being made. Definitely more variety than most other years. I'd be happy with a Stomp!, HU, Rebuild, ILHB whitewash!
