Erm, it depends. I don't think there's anything especially immature about wanting to get mashed. I think there is, though, if you get mashed to a point where you don't enjoy the night/event that you've been looking forward to for a long time.

Yeah, but it's a loss I could have avoided easily if I hadn't been like an impulsive 16-year-old and started drinking at 3pm and smashed far too many tequilas.

I've done it a few times with no problem the only tricky part I find is staying up right till the end. Although I might go abit earlier I still much prefer waking up clear headed not feeling like a badgers ass the next day.
Went and saw Mark EG and Kutski a few months back and bumped into a few other mates who were driving and after about an hour we got right into it and had a awesome time and forgot we were completly sobar. I wouldn't keep drinking red bull or cokes though coz your just end up wired- I tend to drink aload of water :)

yea that was pretty f**king stupid of you lol. Nothing wrong with having a drink here or there, but to be smashed before even getting there makes no sense to me.
Also nothing wrong with getting smashed either at any age it just matters what type of drunk you are. Doubt you the violent type but I imagine there are some over there.
