Yeah started following him on twitter the other day there, obviously wanting to keep his hardcore profile separate from his house one.
Loving some of the tracks on his soundcloud, especially Halfway There w/Klubfiller, that vocal is powerful. Can't see any free tracks on there though :-
Edit listened to all they tracks now and they're all amazing! Re-con and Styles really are in a league of their own when it comes to production. Re-Con has been a huge miss at raves recently hopefully he starts making some more appearances again soon, although I've heard that the only 2 promoters he'll play for these days are HTID and Slammin and he's rarely even at their events

I've not heard a good Re-Con track for about 5 years and listening to some of the clips I can't see that changing anytime soon.

To be fair he's not been making as much hardcore as he used to, he's been focusing more on his house music and also produced a track for Ne-yo that got to number 1 in the charts so he's obviously been a busy guy. Have to admit that the stuff I've heard from him in the last few years hasn't been as good but he's still an excellent producer and i'm glad he's still doing some hardcore. Just out of interest what was the last good re-con track you heard?

Mortis isn't a fan of anything current that has the electro/dub sound so I wouldn't worry about what tracks of Re-Con he likes lol

he hes doing a flashlight remix, cant wait for that
I think it's done being produced as Darren Styles played a flashlight remix at EDC. But not sure if it his remix or someone else's
That video is a remix of Satellite, not flashlight
Yes that's the remix of satellite, heard it quite a few times in Spain. Better than the original imo. Apparently both versions were made at the same time but he opted to release the other version, although he prefers this remix now with hindsight

Without A Doubt and Fuel To Fire, anyone?
Personally I say fair play to the man. There's clearly a lot more money to be made elsewhere for him so one can only really conclude that he's still doing hardcore out of love for the music.
I still think he's a great producer and I hope he continues for many years to come!

Couldnt have said it better. Without Doubt is one of my favorites of him and I asked him to do an update :)

Re-Con tweeted last night to say he's just finished his remix of flashlight and will post it on soundcloud soon. He was also working on an update of Pull Over and has been asking people to request old tunes for him to update. Looking forward to hearing these.
Also Darren Styles has done a 2013 remix of Come Running, can't wait to hear this
