Think we can catalog where most of his songs came from?

Perusing through Youtube and listening to some classics, I decided to go and listen to SB's Rock You Softly.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0D6fAmqENQY

Curious to find out where the vocals came from, and did a search and found out this is where most of them come from.

Anyone feel free to share theirs.

I can't help but reminisce? more like I can't help but stare at your gold teeth =P

reason do what ya like got played was because it was and is a good tune, hence the rez anthem...and there were a lot of worse tunes that could of been played instead =P

Damn Rowan lol

Isn't Elysium's melody from somewhere??? I remember it was a topic of discussion long ago, and some people said they've heard it before but can't remember from where.

Aye, had realised that there's a number of his tracks with parts from other songs but at the time with many of them hadn't realised that.

There are some listed above that didn't know about and many wouldn't have known what song parts were taken from.

Didn't realise that at all with Pilgrim.

Maybe there's some other of his vocal tunes that thought have been original lyrics but aren't. Think the majority of his tunes with a vocalist like DMO & Kelly C are original eg. All About You, Run To Me, Fall into your arms, Need you in my arms.

Roll The Track is from a trance tune (someone posted it on here), literally lifted the riff out of the original track

yes I remember that too. I'll have to do a search for it

EDIT: And you are absolutely right Thumpa, in fact your BFF Archefluxx/Elipton/Olly was the one who started the thread and found the origins.

http://www.happyhardcore.com/forums/topic.asp?topic_id=48648

The origin comes from Tillmann Uhrmacher- Free

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D0yNp4_-f0I

BTW another mention of Elysium there, and I do remember at one point someone did mention and posted the video of its origins, but within a matter of hours any post or the whole thread was deleted. Wonder why, and what the purpose of keeping it a secret is.

I don't remember if it came out before or after, but Roll the Trak reminds me very much of either of these tracks:
Kai tracid - Life is too short
Talla 2 XLC - world in my eyes

I see i already commented this on the thread latin linked too :P

Anyone remember where Blue room was taken from?

If I remember correctly, the original version of Pilgrim takes the riff from Transfiguration straight of, while the 2000 version (which is the more known version no?) Scott Brown re-arranges the mid-end part

The First Parable takes its riff from Dj Panda "It's a Dream". Both excellent tunes.
