Of course he is, and everyone here agrees with you. But it's not as black and white as that in reality. Clearly some people (big promoters) still have reservations about booking him. He won the Lifetime Achievement award last time and he wasn't there in person, so I'd be amazed if he was this time.

I think the majority of us who actually keep up with the current scene already knew he wasn't going to be there. That whole mess hasn't been iced over, and looks like it never will be.
If you want an answer to your question Kathryn send the Hardcore Heaven promoters an e-mail. They're the only ones who could really tell you if he'll be there or not.

There isn't anyone except me really that just DJ's, the lines between DJ and producer are more blurred than ever these days! Look at Andy C, Hype & Grooverider, haven't produced a record in years but they are 3 of the biggest DJs in D&B. It just isn't like that in hardcore, its all about producing and playing your own tracks. Whether that's a good or bad thing is a discussion for another day, I just want people to actually vote for freeform DJs, producers...

I put in votes accordingly. Who knows if it will make a difference, but if no one adds to the numbers from outside the mainstream it will never change. I hope HU repeats as best label too!
How does this work - for round 1 its all write in and then are there specific options for round 2? (Just curious - I've never looked at them in the past)

Last year was the first time that voters get to choose who are the nominees. Before that someone (who the hell knows who) made that decision for us and we had a bunch of nominees for each category already picked out for us.
So now from now until Nov. 5th everyone puts in a vote for nominations, and those who top the nominations (not sure how many per category) will be eligible to be voted as best in that category after the 5th of november.
I also voted for HU for best label, and even though it's not out yet, I voted for HU 6 for best compilation lol. It's obvious that it will be available to the public by that time. Kind of a shame though I had hoped that CDJay would have already had it ready in time for HH Awards voting to start, so ppl can have another reason why HU deserves to repeat for best label! And even snag the best compilation album!
Also voted Free From form for best song, Fracus & darwin for best djs and best producers, Obie for best MC, and Shimamura for best int'l dj. Oh and I also put in CDJay for lifetime achievement :)
