What they should do for next year is put the votes in separate categories. That way if you don't listen to freeform, hard dance, gabba etc then you don't vote in it. The way it is just now you are forced to vote in every category I believe
well i only voted in one category ( lifetime achievement )
Fair enough, it wasn't very clear that you could do that though. They should re-structure the voting page and make it clear that you shouldn't vote unless you know enough about the given category. The majority of people voting are into UK Hardcore only (like myself) and know nothing or very little about other sub genres.

Yes but at the same time, didn't Slammin Vinyl/Hardcore Heaven already declare themselves to be the ones filtering the votes to be sure that they actually belonged in the category? That was the main problem with last year's awards. When the hell have they ever heard Marc Smith or Kutski play freeform??? Granted I can understand Fracus & Darwin being there since they have produced freeform in the past, as well as play freeform in their sets, but not Marc Smith or Kutski. I put the majority of the blame on their end, even though the people who voted for all three of them ahead of Thumpa are still complete fucktards.

I'm pretty sure she knows what freeform is. But to be honest, I am not sure what freeform is anymore either.
