The Braveheart remixes. Every single remix has an overly long breakdown and exactly the same synths and drop (well, more or less). I didn't mind the one that Gammer and Frantic did, and Joey Riot's one was OK, but essentially the track bored me more then anything. To be fair I don't mind it as much as I used to.
Body Slam - another one that I didn't particularly dislike but it didn't do anything for me at all and was played a lot (and was another that was remixed several times).
Forever Autumn - the one Vibes used to play. Never really thought much of this, Vibes has always been my favourite but I never liked when he played this. The intro just seemed to last an eternity and I just found it a generally boring track (and infuriatingly Vibes occasionally rewound the track after it kicked in and played the whole thing from the start!)
Apollo 13 by Force and Styles. Another one that seems to be right popular but I never really took a liking to.
Pump Up The Noize by Marc Smith. By rights I should love this, that classic rave stab, hard bouncy kicks, an amen, simple vocal snippet, speed ups, slow downs... and yet it always bored me senseless. Just didn't seem to end either.
I'm agreeing with Styles - Sorry from recent times, I thought it was utter shit and I'm certainly no hater of UK hardcore by any means.

This is what i found with 'heart of gold' i wasn't a big fan when it came out but it became so boring after a while ,the intro is so long, and they always play it up until it kicks in .....then rewind it and you have to go through it all again!
Not so bad if they make it the last tune of the set.....but as an opener it sometimes stopped me gettin 'into' the set ....

Maybe not a classic, but I've never liked:

hah! in another place and time I would've given this one a chance just because it was hardcore-speed! OT... Darwin - Don't be lonely First version I heard of this was Nu Foundation's rmx on a showcase mix of his. The original didn't feel right when I later heard it. Still doesn't.

I'm talking about the original. No one talks about it these days though.

You newbies have got it lucky, at raves in 96-98 you would hear Heart Of Gold 2, 3, 4 times a night, when the scene was on it's arse in 99-01 you would hear them all over again!
I didn't go raving before 97 but I've heard from a few people and read in mags that Toytown got dropped a handful of times in a night, I don't think I really heard it that much when I started to go to raves. Now I think about it, all my Skelter tapepacks didn't have much repitition, even then in 97 a lot of DJs were playing different tracks, maybe Cloudy Daze got hammered but that's it really.
As for 'classic' hardcore I don't like, I've never really been hugely into Shooting Star, although I appreciate it's great and really well written I've just heard it so many times that I don't like it anymore.

I often find a lot of the popular Breakbeat Piano Hardcore from people like Vibes & Dougal a bit dull and samey & some Force & Styles stuff but do like Heart of Gold.
Too many good and to so good ones to choose from

I honestly edited the gabber breakdown out of the original for when I was playing it at home. The new remix is great though, I love the entire track.
There's a lot of newer music I don't care for, but can't think of any classics atm that I never liked.
