So you're giving up DJing because someone who doesn't play freeform wins the award instead of you, who's been begging everywhere for votes? It has nothing to do with your ego being hurt? Yeah. Okay. I think we all buy that, Thumpa. ;)

Andreas, I know Olly can come across as a bit of an egotistical slag on here and online in general, but almost all of what he does is with the intention of improving the visibility, health and accurate representation of Freeform - not for his own personal ascension.

No I am giving up because I'm going to be a dad in May and I've done pretty much everything I wanted to do, Westfest and mixing HU6 were 2 to tick off the list and they are done now.

Oh, that's the reason Rebuild is closing/put on hold? The the last Album should've been called "The Show will go on"

perhaps Stamina Records is willing to take over the Rebuild albums. I mean it would be nice to prevent it from dying down.

Really? is there only 2 labels that does (proper?) Freeform now? Ever since Kevin Energy left and Shanty closed/slowed down Electronica Exposted freeform labels have died out...
No. I believe A.B is already busy with his label so I believe it would be better if someone else took care of it. But is there really anyone with varied knowledge (like thumpa or Shanty) who can helm a freeform album without it steering too much in one direction (kinda like the Watchtower albums).

It would be silly to try and replicate/replace that album serious exactly, but there's definitely space for someone else to do something Freeform based, relatively regularly,now.

Why the **** would I let anyone take over a label that I started and turned into a massive success?
