Some of the tracks are good and I play some out. In Japan there is quite a big spanish hardcore following.

Makina is kinda cool for all of us former eurodance-nerds, cause that's basically what it is, except sped up.

You ever feel this far removed from pop music?
"Do you like Smashing Pumpkins?" "Are you kidding?! I love to do that!"

i loved eurodance when i was 12 and 13, but i dont like makina

90% of makina is just WAY too cheesy and generic

there are a few good tunes out there, but its a tiresome search

Hey!
Who doesn't like makina?
Makina is a really good music. But I think that there is on the forum lots of englishmen, so you can't know how makina is really kicking. (sorry for the english i'm french).
If you were ever been in clubs such as Pont Aeri or X-Que, you'll undrstand that makina is harder to mix than happyhardcore and the effect on the crowd is better.
Believe me, Makina is better than happyhardcore (happyhardcore is really good, though).
Concerning me, i mix happyhardcore and makina, and the thing i don't like with happy hardcore is that all the musics look like the other ones.
;)

I'm loving it. I think I own about 12 or so of it. My favorite being New Atmospherica - Cocums. I played it on my last show. It just has this synth that is used in Megaman so I just love it so much!

I love eurodance. I loved Eiffel 65 before they became a fad. I still love them alot now (hence why I made a remix of one of their songs). Makina is so bouncy and bouncy is my favorite type of hardcore. =)

about that...I can see why you'd say that, but thats why a genre is for. There is suposed to be a resemblance..and I haven't heard something sound really alike, except if it's from the same artist, which isn't always the case.

Im just a bassline addict
Im just a hardcore addict
Im just a dancefloor manic
Why o why cant you just accept it.

With tunes like "Love & Devotion", "Another Night", "Runaway"
Those tunes were top quality euro-dance cheese at it's best .
