I think this is the point, Olly. What you still maintain is a case of opinion - actually isn't. Between Ben, Will, Olly and I - we are saying that we know, for a fact (based on a lot of raves attended), that Obie does not do what you have said he does as a matter of practice.
That is all there is to it.

I make a point of getting to an event an hour before because I always want to see how the last set went down. What works, what doesn't, the mic set up, the speaker arangment everything.
You will notice when I get to a rave I go to different places on the dance floor to see how the crowd hears the music. Who's needs more engagement from the MC.
Also you still haven't said this event that I came and went?
Just out of interest?

Obie is one of the most approachable guys there is around, very forgiving as well, I'll never forget at the feel the rush event in Peterborough a few years ago when I spoke to him while he was on, then fell over his mic lead, near enough went over, and nearly took the mic with me as I went, and he just laughed it off, I know that not all would take so kindly to drunken idiots such as myself on that night.

I can co-sign latonxtc's statement - every time I've interacted with him when he's been in Toronto he's been nothing but approachable and accommodating. Dude is definitely backtracking like a mother****er, and clearly lacks the humility to admit that maybe he was wrong

Sharkey feat: Marc Smith - Death By Stereo what a track that is from Sharkey's Hard Life album. Has to be one of the best early freeform/ rave tracks. Such a great sounding and well produced track!
Also big fan of Product Of Society (Hardcore Society mix especially). Well produced track also.
Are there still many 90s freeform sets being played in the UK? Are some of the early producers still Djing...Sharkey, Helix or DJ Fury?

Poor sharkey, I think he's lost it

PS. I presume that's not sharkey... or?
