Yeha i tried to give up did for 4 weeks, put on 1 stone:( decided i was one of them people who was destined to smoke, so never even considered giving up agen. And i do genuinely enjoy it.
On a brighter note..lads don't think the new warnings are all bad here's what happened to me the other nite with my gf:
We were in bed about to get down n dirty, when i realised i didn't have a condom *bugger* but then i went to av a ciggy n realised "Smoking can lower the sperm count and cause impotence" so i showed the gf persuaded her that it was safe coz i'd av a fag first an after lol!!! So the warnings aren't all bad!!
In complete darkness we are all the same, it is only our knowledge and wisdom that seperates us.

they do have these warning on baccy, certainly golden virginia. im collecting em an sticking em on my wall. as for smoking, i started cuz i needed one when i got drunk for the first time ever.
i hate cigs, theyre disgusting, they taste like ass, give you a headache, make me cough hard in the morning (im asthmatic<---im official contender for the dumbass awards:)) but the thing is i enjoy them, despite all the bad things, they make you feel better when you have one, but only because you needed it. id far rather not ned it. i tried to quit and after a few days i couldnt concentrate on anything (moreso than usual) and started shouting at people for doing anything wrong at all. started smoking again wen i went mad at my teacher, who promptly got medieval on my ass!
if i had a choice id smoke green permannently, cuz at least its actually worth smoking, its not just something you need to stop you needing it.
but the only warning that affects me is the one about it harming you and others around you. a very good friend of mine's father died from secndary smoke lung cancer, and i feel a twinge of guilt evry time i smoke in a public place.

What I found amusing was that here in Oz, the "Government Health Warning" labels are generally on the front panel of the lid on your packet of smokes. Flip open the lid and, depending on the brand of cigarette it is, often you'll find some narky little slogan on the foil freshness seal underneath. For example:
"WARNING: Smoking kills" ... then open up the lid and the foil seal will tell you to "Anyhow, have a Winfield".
"WARNING: Smoking causes lung cancer" ... then flip the lid and you're faced with "Always in good taste" (Dunhills).
"WARNING: Your smoking can harm others", but then again, you've just bought yourself a pack of Benson & Hedges, for those times "When only the best will do".
Sorta reminds me of those references in The Simpsons to Laramie cigarettes, "that smooth Carolina smoke" (or something to that effect).

Yes mate really. Dont ask me why i put a bloody link to DNBArenas forum at the bottom of my post. I was a bit drunk when i first posted it. Its the next day now. Bit more sober.
Anyways, yeah it was my fags. Some girl at work cut them out of a MNE or something and shes got about 50 of em. I put it in my packet. took a photo and uploaded it to DNBForum for a laugh. If you right click the picture the url goes back to my site http://www.breakbeat-terrorism.co.uk
For a laugh i was gonna change the picture to some naked men, then it woulda shown up in your post with a comment about funny fags :-) Hehehe.
Never did tho.
I only found out coz i was looking at my webstats (we only launched the site 2 days ago) and happyhardcore.com was a refferer....checked it out and low and behold...my smokes are headline news. Although i think most people in this thread got a bit carried away with the pros and cons of smoking rather than the fact its just a funny picture.

Australia sucks our prices r rediculous. It costs bout $9 for a pack of dunhill blues in the 25 pack. The range of prices is usually from $7.5 - $9
Still this is tooo ****en expensive.

Aye rezzna,I'm asthmatic too.
I'm sometimes a bit wheezey in the morning and cough a bit.
Sometimes I have bad winters where I get cold after cold,flu after flu.
And I get quite run down,but now winters over I'm in good health.
I smoke miles more js than cigs,its so much better.
