well, I am a man of many styles. Bit of rap, and some RnB, a bit of hard rock, some BT (what ever he is, like progressive, hard deep breaks with a twist and a scent of lemon) and my fav Happy hard.
But silver (no doubt speaking from experience!!) has prolly the best advice.

good luck mate, 5am start? sounds interesting i love the last set of a night, you get this half reality thought that there are people outside getting up for work and doing their everyday things.
push the cheezy ness toward the end.

ONE THING THAT IS IMPORTANT . DON't play any of the big anthems straight off the bat. wait awhileand start off with some slow stuff first. then pump it up in the middleof the clubs time.

i seem to have the same problem as you.Were i DJ there are not alot off people in to hhc but they are all in to the trance and hard house.i try and bring hhc in to my mixes to and at the same time keep the people happy.if u wanna bring hhc in to your mix , u should start off with something like N-Trance - set you free (hixxy mix)or even double dutch - heaven because the crowd no these tunes from trancy kind off music.Then after playing these songs which are half hhc and half trance then start to bring in hhc more and the crowd will luv it.Works with me so should with you, i hope.

if i were u i wouldnt start with techno wonderland. if it is not a hhc crowd it will b lost on them. try 2 get there attention with some newer trancy stuff n then take ur set 2 where u wanna take it. also dont start off hard or u wont have anything 2 work ur set up 2 i would go easy on them 1st and then get progressivly harder and faster.
in controll in effect so what the heck, rock rock rock the discotek
