Ha! Ha! I have converted a mate of mine from punk to hardcore!
He said it's growin on him so my mission to spread the word and sounds of hardcore are being achieved.
A big high five to me!

I also listen Punk, and started listening it before Hardcore. Both of the genres have very similar song structure. So just try to find tracks that have the most similaritys, so that he'll feel just like home when listening :)

I also converted my closest friends into hardcore (almost 2 years ago) from other shitty music backgrounds (2 from rap, 1 from old 80's electronica, 1 from mainstream bollocks).... Now they f00kin lurve it and hardcore is their life.... and here we all are enjoyin a rave:

haha quality! i have also done this to many of my mates! ive changed about 15 peoples life with hardcore so far  it's a good feeling converting them to what you knows best!

Yea i've converted all but one of my closest m8s - hes got dreadlocks n that n is into his rock/drum n bass.
His girlfriend is the same (even the dreadlocks)... she slagged hardcore off infront of me the other day. She wont be doin that again!.. pure abuse!!
Yea anyway... me m8 has purchased a hardcore album dispite apparently not liking it. He's gotta be a closet raver! Jus scared to admit to himself.... like i bet a shit load of people are...
