And yes, 1 mix per person will be the best way.
The start button gets delayed by the program sometimes

It'll all be sorted by the end of the year Brian!
I think everybody who listens should be able to vote, and if everyone picks a top 3 it might help to get a good spread of results. We'll have to decide whether votes will be in secret to help with suspense or public so there can be no accusations of cheating!
And just for the record, i will be throwing a mix in there but won't be in the competition.

Dunno, it never delayed me ever since I figured out all the things (3 things) Sync button does.
And keyboard delay can happen cuz some things are triggered by the release, not the press. If u hold the button for too long, it will delay since u havent released it in time.

Considering the events that has happened, don't you think we should spice it up with mixing atleast one NuFoundation in our sets? If so, without having to have everyone play the same song, I was thinking of mixing Lia - Saya's Song [Nu Foundation mix].
this means I will have to make a new mix, but alas, atleast that way I can dedicate it to him, aswell as finally get a new mix together

I was thinking just that earlier. Would be good if it could happen but shouldn't be compulsory.

It's a nice idea but it would end up becoming a "Nu Foundation" mix contest instead. Like DMS said I don't think it should be compulsory.
On a related note, Olly Thumpa has done a kick ass Nu Foundation tribute mix: http://soundcloud.com/rebuild_music/nu-foundation-tribute-mix#

Yeah man, that is a top mix. Listened to it twice today already.
As for the competition, I have a suggestion on scoring. If people think it's retarded, then you can either say "That's retarded Jay" or you can just ignore it.
If a spread of results if what you're after, maybe a 'points' system could be used.
i.e. I award DJ Sexy the five points, DJ Naughty the three points, and the one point goes to DJ Slut-Face.
You see? So, you pick a top three, but instead of just "Here's my top three, they all get a vote each" - you still rank them. The fact that every 'judge' is awarding 9 points (5 for first, 3 for second, and 1 for third) means there could be some really close stuff.
I reckon everyone should PM DMS their votes, and that it be kept secret. You could even keep the running results secret until 24 hours before the voting deadline - at which time you could reveal the identity of, say, the top 5 DJs on points so far - but not reveal what the actual point scores are. Might create a voting/mix-listening frenzy from people that haven't voted yet.
As for voting, I suggest that the only criteria is that (and people just have to be honest and trust about this) is that you have to have listened to every mix.
Those are my thoughts. Dunno what people think...

Good points Jay.
I'm all for a top 3 system and i was intending that to be points based. As for public/private voting i'm open to everyone's thoughts. PM votes will help to keep it exciting, and maybe reveal everyone's votes at the end if there's any risk of a dispute!
And welcome aboard Seaking. I'm expecting entries closing at the end of the week, with a further period to get the mixes in before the voting starts.
