I think he's rather busy planing the ultimate prize.
I mean come on, its not that easy to make a CD compilation thats going to distributed world wide. Thats fully liscenced. When you have a full time job thats NOT this website.

Any news?
Since the deadline passed for the results I have been to Mexico
Got Married, Had my Honey Moon, and then back to the UK had a reception party and still there is no result.
Can we please have an update?
We are all anxious after the big push to complete the entries before the deadline
It feels a bit of an anti climax.
We do appreciate its no small feat running HH.Com and juggling a fulltime job but with no information it feels like the competition has been forgotten.
Can a new deadline for the results be posted?
Something for us all to look forward too, it’s the not knowing that is driving us all crazy.
Sorry for the whinge I needed to get it off my chest!!
After all that I want to say good luck everyone looking forward to the result

Firstly I have to say for the delay and the lack of updates, I will try to explain as best and as short as I can the reasoning behind this and the disqualification.
Firstly I love this production idea, it was small, in house and fun, it got new producers buzzing and working together is what I thought the site was all about. This was the vibe throughout the entire running of the comp and creation of the tunes. But this all changed after... I knew people would try to cheat, I mean if you can get away with it why not right? Wrong! I did not want to see this great little project turn to shit because of cheaters, so I set the rules and the voting requirements and I thought I would stick to them, for the fairness of the comp and the fairness to everyone that followed the rules.
We did not actually get anyone that cheated or tried to cheat, we just had someone that did not read the rules. I'm not going to mention names but I have explained what happened to the person(s) involved and they understand what the points I raised were. There were two rules broken, the first one rule broken the person had an reasonable explanation to why it was so, it worked out that in fact they had not broken the rule as another rule proceeded that rule making the rule we thought was broken not broken (understand :) )...
But the second rule was clear, it was a direct violation and although it was small rule it was still a rule and a condition of entry and it would be totally unfair to the everyone else that did follow the rule for me to let this slide.
I explained this to the person(s), but they claimed foul, I would not say they were rude, I mean I can understand how hard it is to work on a track and then for it to be shot down due to a small rule. I respect them for trying to correct the rule they broke but in the end it's not the end that justify the means. I received an email requesting an apology for my email that I sent to the person(s), I really felt ill... An apology? For what? For kicking their track out? I'm not being a hard ass, they should understand they should have read the rules like everyone else. I'm very sorry that I have to disqualify an entry, I did not want to do it but to maintain a level of professionalism in the contest I have to do it. I hope the person(s) understand the reasons why I did what I did, even if they would have wne the competition.
Another thing I really want to say is that everything you see on this site I made, me, one person... bar the text in the forums, event, etc from all the good members and such and the excellent work the moderators do all over the place. But for the most part it is run by one person, me, DJ Silver, for you, I'm not moaning that this competition is late, that is my fault, all I ask is that I am busy and personal attacks against me for no reason I can't understand.... I love running this site and I love my hardcore, there is a small handful of people out there that seem to want to ruin that. This is more of a general comment and not directed at anyone in this comp or anyone in particular, it's just something I needed to express, perhaps this is not the best place for it but I wanted to sort of let people know where I am coming from and why the competition is late. To put it simply - Should I die tomorrow this site would die tomorrow.
With that out of the way.... Set your faces to smile :)
I present you the April 2005 HappyHardcore.com production competition winners as voted by the members of HappyHardcore.com

Please note: That when I was voting and selecting the track for the CD I did not look at the votes nor did I use the knowledge of the disquailiifcation. I voted with the same knowledge as everyone else, so even if I voted for the disquailifed enrty by vote would have gone to that entry.

Congratulations to both Ionosphere and Treasure :)
...also congrats to Apollo & Acolyte for getting a track to HT3, and to everyone else that worked hard with their tracks :)
My favourite tune in the competition was Splix's tune. Voted Ionosphere's track as the second :)
