rygor the rules are somebody has to post some lyrics and then we all make are own versions of a song using those lyrics and the one silver likes the most wins

^^^ so if I post my own lyrics what happens?
Reason why, is because who ever writes the lyrics get the publishing, I dont want some-one else getting publishing for songs that I write....

TBH Honest i have no one that can sing,
Using lyrics from another tune?????
I think we should throw up some lyrics and work around it, its gets everybody involved in the same idea.You can distinguish when one you like better

i think everyone should go bk and read the rules at the top of page 1 again.....save all the confusion.

To answer some questions:
Ionsphere has posted some lyrics for a song, you don't have to use those ones you can create your own, but you have to post the lyrics and post the vocals if you actually record your own version.
If you do use Ionsphere's lyrics the publishing goes to Ionsphere, if you create your own lyrics the publishing rights goes to the person that wrote the lyrics. Even if someone else uses your lyrics in their own version / remix of your track you will always own the publishing rights.
If you want to make a team effort like the HHC.com team then that is not a problem, but if you want to do a solo effort then that is okay as well.
In the end this is just a fun project for people get their singing, songwriting, production and remix hats on.
Anyone can sing the lyrics... I might get my singing hat on and post if you lot don't get going soon :)

Ryg0r: Just checking m,ate . *IF* we were using Ionosphere's lyrics I was gonna lay down some music to the lyrics, but wouldn't get full vocals till at least the week after. If you could get the full vox this weekend then I wasn't going to bother lol.
Mind you, if the rules state that the lyric writer gets full publishing rights, despite who writes the music for the words then I'll maybe write my own lyrics/song.

Which is the reason why I'll get some of my own vocals for the entry my and Apollo are putting in.
Not to be a snob, but publishing rights are quite important... More than alot of people know...

Um, seeing as the winner is going in Silver's CD on HT3, I think he should be the judge.

It would be:
MJ-Dream feat. some singer - Some Tune
written by Ionosphere
Ionosphere would be entitled to the publishing (songwriting) royalties, and recording copyright would have to be agreed between anybody who recorded anything for the track (singer, producer, remixer, engineer etc)
