A lot of the members here have made some misjudgements, when they first joined and didnt know all the other members. Thought you would know that.

i thought the lyrics were gonna be rights free, and that whoever recorded them was gonna give up all rights for everyone on HHC to use.
that sux now. i rather use other lyrics.

thats the only way im participating
why would u want rygor and apollo having 30 remixs of their song?
its like bs, if the sample is not royalty free this is a waste of time for everyone.

Uhm, what are you talking about? Take any record you own, it says clearly who is the artist, but when you check the inlay it always says the songwriter. E.g. in Flip & Fill's Single "Shooting Star" it says written by Nick Arnold. But you want to take the credit from the songwriter? Why? You dont appriciate his/her job?

Pff by my honor as hhc producer, I start from the beginning!
It's more important for me to create a track that is a competition for the others. I don't wonna be neccesarily on the cd from silver if I have stolen the track or did something illegal to it.
honor > cupidity
I also already started. I hope its allowed for me to take my own lyrics, I still dont got the point :)

i think this, look we all gotta use the same lyrics or this isnt a competition at all.
thats the same thing as if kevin energy entered this contest cause whats to prevent him from entering a track he made?
we all gotta use the same lyrics, i say lets get a few people who want to record lyrics upload them and then we have a poll and vote which one we would like to use in the competition.

I agree. If we weren't to use the same vocals, there would be far too much difference between everyone. We have to have some restrictions.
e.g. Someone enters a genuine peice of art into a competition for 12-15yr olds.

Yes true, but Kevin Energy would also have to post his lyrics and vocals for the track. Yes technically there could be alot of different tracks with a lot of different vocals but the point is to create something new I was hoping that another member on the site would sing the lyrics. Also remember the rule...
2. The vocals have to be sung by a member of the site, male or female, duet or combination of different singers.
so Kevin Energy and the singer would both have to be members of the site.
Rygor, your singer has to be a member of the site, I perhaps should put a post rule up as well...
There is not really one winner in this competition, that is not to say that the version that is selected for the next Hardcore Tsunami is the winner, it will just be the one that is selected for my mix.
People can vote and comment to determine the winner. (I will add this rule).
All copyrights will be credited to the artists that created the tune with the expection of the mix that goes on hardcore tsunami which will be signed to MasterWax Records.
it's all hardcore.
