Im really quite horrified that it has come to this.
I'm now to scared to catch a train to the city beaches by myself or with my friend cause we don't want to be targeted or harrased by these groups cause we're Australian.
Its a real shame that we have watch the areas we go to in my own country cause of a few people thatthink they are above our laws.

I think Middle Eastern ppl are just as afraid that they will be attacked and harrassed purely on the fact that they come from the Middle East(regardless if they were Aussie born or not).
The whole thing would never have been about race until the media blew it out of proportion and you had 5000 Aussies Rioting against ppls right to be somewhere because of the wrong doings of a few.
TBH, I couldnt careless if the ppl carrying hatred from either sides got together and did whatever they like. But both sides so far have attacked innocent ppl who prolly dont wanna be apart of this mess and were commuting from A to B.
Both parties went about it the wrong way and the media is known to add fuel to the fire. So who's to blame, anyone whos got a bias opinion i reckon.

im of greek heritage myself and I keep getting dirty looks on trains from australians/general public :( it really gives me the shits considering greeks aren't even involved in this "lebanese vs aussie" riot
