i tink everyone that has done drugs at one stage or still does drugs are the only ones defending it...... i honestly believe that if you knew the effect drugs have on the body not many people would be doin them at all... the people on MDMA at raves cant see what we can see...i can see eyes bulging and jaws griding and its jud fukn discusting!! there is nothing "cool" about it, the only reason you can prob feel the music better is cause your that out of it all you can get ur head round is the bloddy music!!
here is the low down on drugs:
drugs damage the neurons in your brain, impairing your senses, memory, judgment, and coordination. Some common effects include loss of muscle and motor control, blurred vision, and seizures.
Club drugs like ecstasy are stimulants that increase your heart rate and blood pressure and can lead to heart or kidney failure. Other club drugs, like GHB, are depressants that can cause drowsiness, unconsciousness, or breathing problems.
Club drugs like GHB and Rohypnol are used in “date rape” and other assaults because they are sedatives that can make you unconscious and immobilize you. Rohypnol can cause a kind of amnesia—users may not remember what they said or did while under the effects of the drug, making it easier for others to take advantage of them.

If alcohol was just brought out it would illegal. The only thing that stops the government from doing this is because of the tax they make off it.

Obviously, anything that is abused is dangerous. Wild Irish Raver made a comment stating that the only people who defend drugs are those that take or have taken them. I agree with this statement but from a different point of view.
Those who have not taken drugs cannot spout off about how wrong they are and what they do to you because they really have no idea what they do to you. Their source of information is the press and horror stories that others tell them.
If I stood in the middle of london shouting about what is was like to be abducted by aliens and that I go to their home world all the time, I would be laughed at because I would not really know what it was like.
Therefore people who have never done drugs can not comment of the affects and the experience.

It's a book that tells the truth about drugs, it is really interesting, it states the facts so anyone thinking of taking substances can get the lowdown on what they are really like.

Seriously though my main source are the users(my friends), i've seen pretty much to know what is what. I dont believe in the press, although it depends a lot as in witch magazine/news etc. Also the press tell less lies then the drugees tell the newbies. You've probably also seen how some 14-18 year olds think they know everything, drugs are harmless and they say the press just lies and still at the same time they dont even question their own resources of knowledge. Take it like this, breath asbestos you probably dont even feel any symptoms, does it make it harmless?

it aint often you hear ov an ecstacy relatedeath, but 200,000 people die due to alcohol related deaths a year!!

ok, thats just crap, it deleted what i said lol nevermind, i was just going to menchion how irrelivent that death argument really is.
in which case i could say "killing one baby is ok, because you COULD be killing two - so just killin the one is fine..."
the bottom line is, drugs **** you up, whether they are legal or not.
the number of deaths will be proportionate to how readily the drug is avalible...if alcohol is avalible, there will be accidents, the same if other drugs are involved.....when they legalise drugs (which in my opinion they can if they want to, im not going to tell people not to do them, its thier body) when the death rate for them reaches a six figure number, perhaps then you will take notice....since any less than alcohol is acceptable..

in my opinion if you need drugs to enhance your experiance then why not just sit at home with a strobe like and trip with yourself. Drugs are lame. Music the the only good drug.

I agree with what Wild Irish Raver said.....I've seen people on MDMA enough times....eyes bulging...teeth grinding and totally f**ked!!!
I was speaking to someone on MDMA for about ten min...they turned around and asked where I was??
They sat with a black bag saying it was a cat???
They sit and mumble seeing things that aren't there!!!!
Now this may seem like a stupid question...but what the FCUK is "COOL" about that?????
Does alcohol make you do that???....NO!!!
Smoking???...NO!!!
Is it fcuking NORMAL???....NO!!!!!
And that story about alcohol is being out-played....It seem's like it's the only "back-up" people have to convince themselves that what they are doing is ok!!!!
Sorry if I've touched a few nerves there....Its what I think!!

trust me I've seen it all!!! I've seen friends sell all ter clothes, cd's, ter fone even mobile phone Credit, everything they had for drugs money ive seen them steal and beat ppl up for money.....and i seen tem go through 3months of rehab just to get off drugs and the day tey got home ter girlfriend brought tem to smoke hash!! tey stayed off MDMA for awhile but went back on!!! they would do anything for that buzz! and thats why we have got to realise how addictive it is and how it effects other people! and to be perfectly honest you couldnt have a decent conversation with them!! as they cant even remember what they did 10minutes ago!
and ive also seen them when there not on drugs..and ive seen how hard that was... the mood swings are unreal and they jus are constantly depressed! they are not human!and to think that they will have to spend the rest of their lives like this is a joke! is it really worth it??
a close friend of mine O.D'd on MDMA she still has holes in her jaws!!she almost died was on life support! i could talk to ppl till i was blue in the face but ive been thru it and i know no matter what i or anybody else says drugs will always be apart of daily life! and if u are going to take drugs........make sure its for the Right reasons!

The reson drugs are illegal isnt purely because they are bad for you. I cant be bothered arguing with you people but try finding out some information other than what is fed to you through the media

Now here is my oppinion about drugs at raves- I personally get a tingly high from the music itself. I don't need nor want the drugs. BUT- the drugs have been part of the scene since the beginning. They are PART of the scene. I think that it would upset many people's rave experience if they weren't there. I say as long as the ppl who are f**ked up on XTC aren't messing with those of us who prefer to remain sober, let them do as they please. Even if XTC is supposedly bad for you, so is everything else you do- drinking, smoking, eating... so it is a matter of disgression. You decide what is right for you and what isn't.
