The question is wrong. It shouldnt be "are drugs a good idea at a rave" because where ever you go even just to a pub or club there are going to be people in there using as well. Just with raves theres a lot more people and many like to take in there and enjoy it. Dont get me wrong I tried it, was amazing but for me the music is the drug, thats why I go...
I am sure its like that for many other people. I have seen loads of people and spoke to them and they are just normal, No drink no drugs just a good time.
Thats the other thing with raves and why people do it. In a rave you do what you want dont you. No rules basically you can just please yourself in there and no one would mind or bother you. Thats why people do the things that they do in there.
On the street that sort of thing would be chaos, but in a rave its acceptable.
I could go no forever but im not doing because at the end of the day, theres one thing that matters to me, forget all the bull and the this and the that for me and many others theres just the music...

Pace I think you are spot on mate, Do what you want how you want and nowone is soft for saying no, I respect that. From 16 I have been it the scene, I might have stopped canning stuff as much cos at 28 I might just end up dead and a dead dad is no good to anyone( is it kids!) I love the music first, i think the phrase is a little not a lot, its also cheaper that way. I am glad I slowed down because straight I realise I still love the music and can genuinely tell people who tell me its just for druggies to F**K OFF!!

Actually, the rave scene was built upon a foundation of hedonism, a significant (if not pivotal) factor of which was the use of recreational drugs to enhance the cumulative effect of weird electronic music, dodgy venues, and funky lighting.
