it can be done,just need ppl interested. Like dj's are no problem, equipment and flyers are no problem, just really the venue and if ppl would come to an event ya know

depends were ya held it, i'm sure there'd be a good amount like cos @ planet love every year the hardcore tent is packed out so much they refuse ppl into it until some come out lol, but wit the right amount of promotion it could well work :)

Yea. We'd need a good venue, only thing is if it was held in dublin we'd have all these commercial kiddies wanting to go because they hear dune on hot fm.

bout 20mile from newry, my mate is tryin to put on a trance/hard trance nite in Caesers near Carrickmacross, and the place has 2 rooms, i'm tryin to persuade him to put happy hardcore in room 2 because it wud pack out, everyone round there loves hhc. But aint promising, cos myself and one of my bud's are puttin a trance nite on in october, venue is booked an all :D (more details to come) so my money is mostly goin into that ... but i'll let ya's know bout caesers
anyways, why dont u put on a nite, instead of waitin for others to do it ;)

if theres adds on shit fm, sorry HOT fm, and the twats who listen to ultrabeat and that shite go then you wouldnt have problems sellin the tickets. the place would be packed! who gives a shit if they go home half way through as long as they pay and leave the proper ravers alone. it might even spread hardcore to more people and we could have a bit of a scene startin cos i know loads of people who listen to hardcore

Ye you could say what kind of tunes would be playing like like pretty gren eyes and the such like but play the hardcore version instead of the sh*t version.

great idea. trick the tasteless pricks into givin the promoters money. the reason hardcore isnt popular is cos nobodys really heard of it. if hot fm played a hardcore night, a house night, techno night etc. instead of the same SHITE 24 hours a day it would open irish people up to new stuff. then we might get a few good hardcore djs emerging. im gonna contact the bastards. anybody know if they have an e-mail address? bombard them with e-mails for a hardcore slot every week. you never know it might work
