i work a 30 hour week but i do it all in split shifts which is shit cos i feel like im doing a whole days work without getting payed for it, its only for a summer job till i go back to college n all and its tiring me out a bit, ne1 else feelin a bit strained? jus remeber this aint a contest so dont go trying to make me feel underworked yea? 
Theres nothing wrong with the boat those big holes help keep our feet cool.

like i'l start at 11 then finish at 4 then start at 6 n finish at 10.

is that everyday so? or just somedays you work 2 shifts and some days just 1 shift?
I used to work 40 hours a week, 8 hours a day behind a comp in a bank. I get that whole overworked feeling. At the end of each day I just fall into bed after work and...............till the next day to wake up and go to work again.(for 6 months)
Now at school we have to put 40 hours a week into your study, and it seems I put more hours into it, still its about painting and drawing and art stuff, so I dont feel 'the whole pressure' compared to bank-work.
feel strained me? not yet, but when school starts, I better get ready for hell.

i took a year off work to concentrate on my 1st year at uni last september........ 8k's worth of debt later and im off down there to find a job today 
anyway, i won't be around for about a month or so, so tata for now peeps!
P.S - silver, thats a shit load of work, we all appreciate it!

I work basically 8 - 6 5 days a week, and lately I've been doing that 6 days a week, and then sunday 10 - 6. I also tend to work for another 3 or so hours once I get home (except weekends unless I really have to!) I don't wanna work out what that is a week coz it would scare the poo out of me.

not really I sit on my arse in a comfy office doing very little. The hardest part of my job is staying awake if i've been out raving :p

i don't even classify mine as a job. i used to have a class job (accept that i was on call 24 hours a day) as a telephone engineer. it was actually pretty cool; get a phone call and be told we're going to some place u north to do some job.
spend the weekend there and go out clubbin with my boss  good laugh actually.
well gone are the days. now i help out my old man for basically free, while i'm between jobs  how depressing
I'm not mad, just ask my camel steven!!!

Jus to also say to silver many thanks for all the work you do and your most definitely appreciated by us here. Last couple months been using the site a hell've a lot more due to a new job and have to say it's becoming a good part of my life and helps get through the day. I'm awaiting a tax rebate at minute and will defo sort out a donation to help keep the info coming tis a small part to play compared with some people and i think even slaves from the salt mines of siberia would think 14 hours a day is one long effort.

yea we all appreciate your work silver u do a damn fine job mate n i hope u keep it up. weird fish i do 5 days split shifts and 1 day with 1 shift then a day off, but im a second chef so i could do like 40hours in a busy week or 20hours in a quiet week, thing is cos im not qualified i get potwashes wage. gutted huh
