We convinced them to put a hardcore cd on one day but it was turned off after 5 minutes as it was "upsetting the regulars".

How do you think I feel there is NO HARDCORE in Denmark nothing nader zero hardcore for me when I go 2 the clubs only dance and some shity house!!!!

I know what u mean kathryn....I work in a night club as a light jock (a wanna b dj as my m8s call it lol) and I love hardcore and so does the DJ and his misses, but we just know that we would loose our jobs if we playd it all night at normal speed, so what he does is play the ultrabeat stuff much 2 my disguss!!! But he has played the orig 'Your My Angel' and 'Torn (Breeze & Styles ReMix)' but at the speed of -4.6% and just sounds SO WRONG!!!
And the managment is DEAD against Hardcore or even HardHouse, as it brings in the 'wrong crowd'......but when u do play the ultrabeat shit and the 'Hard Dance' thats in the charts the whole place goes mental, but the management still won't change their minds

here in quebec city in canada is the same problem not hardcore play in the club on ly the commercial shit palying here...
is a very bad thing...

Probably because hardcore and hardhouse are associated with drugs and as soon as you get loads of people taking drugs instead of drinking the bar proffits are down. There seems to be loads more money to be made out of crappy chart dance than there is out of hardcore unfortunately.

Has anyone seen those "new generation" jukeboxes where its hooked up to itunes or something, n you can search n download any tune you want to the jukebox!!!
For only a fiver we wacked on the whole HTID vol2 cd1 in the Wagon n Horses!!
and Totally Lost It is one of the best hardcore nites in the country, run by me boy Jay P.

Theres quite few happy hardcore nites in Manchester. U should look on the events section.
Hixxy and Brisk are at the Pheonix on Fri 17th June.
There was ment to b a warehouse party last Sat but it had to b cancelled because the police blocked it off. Gutted. It was fun though, walkin round manc with a few thousand ravers all lookin for a a party!
Sy and Storm were also at the Pheonix at the beginnin of the year, that was wicked ;o)

Theres no Hardcore in somerset clubs, but i aint been to too many coz i aint got a car or moped to explore. All i really no is theres no hardcore in bridgwater, that im sure of.
