I dress skater style and own all bonkers series, does that mean if any big DJ finds this out hardcore will then get a better image? like so general street-joeblogs will think of hardcore as cool skater-dude people who listen to it and not brainless chavs from asda-land?

The guy's got a very good point, as soon as you say your into "rave", "hardcore" or "happy hardcore" you instantly get accused of being a chav. And its a bit of a gutter really :(
I dress sort of skatery/baggy all of the time, go to free parties and listen to bangin tunes. But I never cause any trouble to anyone, and thats what people think of you.

I dont promote the fact i am a raver or that i listen to Hardcore, its my business and my image
If people ask i tell them but it doesnt bother me what their reactions are, who cares if they call you a chav, in Australia if your a raver or like hardcore your a junkie no ifs or buts
Who cares what others associate the scene with, as long as you know you arent what they stereotype you as let them be ignorant

Perhaps skaters think they're cool but not everyone else does, infact they probably come second in pissing people off after chavs...

Funny how Hardcore has this 'chav' image -
Depending where you live/come from, so does R n' B & so does commercial dance. So basically, it's music that mainly young people listen to.
Most young people are classed as chavs whether they are or not so it's a hopeless argument really.
In fact, most people don't have a clue what a 'chav' is. And at 35 with kids, decent job and lots more, don't reckon i fit into the category.
But if any of you do see me hanging around a kids playing area with a load of 14 year old girls, drinking White lightning and terrorizing pensioners please feel free to stop me.
I AM interested in what happens to Hardcore though, and the current scene IS trying to appeal to a wider audience. That doesn't mean that there's anything wrong with selling in Asda, Tesco, or even McDonalds if they want to! Commercial or not, it's still a minority genre - and no amount of Clubland albums for sale in Morrisons will change that.

So who vote's goth theme for b16, what if you're a goth / emo / chav / snob etc. That doesn't mean the artists for bonkers should create some artwork based on stereotypes. I want more things like the harry potter theme, even tho that was the worst artwork i've ever seen for bonkers but it beats a Skater theme idea by far lmao, I say go back to the nice old styles like above :)
