ah just fuhk it u guys. so what if it's not global. us americans wear enough candy and some are filled enough with plurr to make up for the countries that don't really have kandi kids anyways. whatever man, kandi's apparently another ridiculous thing we have, more power to it, and it represents the rave scene we have here - in general. each raver listens and likes something different, but hell - we don't need to all just like hardcore, house, techno, trance, etcetc to be united. we're ravers aren't we? i think that's enough.
quit it.

i think knowing what plur and with it in action, things are fine!
plur and everything will be fine! but the whole kandi thing i think is abit of an exaggeration... but its fun playing with them! their so damn friendly! :)

Becuz it looks like happyhardcore sounds. Particularly the older sounds. Just look at the candy and imagine a classic tune...doesn't it make you feel happy?
Plus if you think that thing is bad, you should see some of my other candy!

Anyways, this shouldn't be such a big deal considering that raves are supposed to inspire freedom and free thinking creation. Just compare for a second this to the punk movement...some punks wore mohawks and spikes while others did not.

Just making a point. You can't go around saying that "the majority of hardcore ravers across the globe are kandy kids" because it's just not true. It's not even as big a part of the full picture as you may like to think.

Aaaaanyway... what do I care.

innit mate only all the worlds biggest raves have none of them , not saying all americans are like this but you have a thing of thinking the world revolves around you's that pisses me off.

*edit

that sounded a bit harsh a lot of brittish people are just as bad, thinking our hardcore scene is the biggest in the world

I see a few at raves sometimes but i always thought they were called cybers!
They dont look as over the top but you find them at the front trying to touch the MCs toe or sat on the floor with their Kermit the Frog Backpacks scared to stomp like proper ravers and just wiggling there hands like they are putting on hand cream
Think its a bit gay myself

About candy...Up until this thread I had always thought you English ravers made it up!
I didn't know it originated in the u.s. But hey much respect to the uk!You guys made the music and without that there'd be no ravers in the first place.

I think its cool, it would be boring if all ravers looked the same - I do like the cyber/UV/flourescent UK fashion better though - rainbow stuff doesn't do it for me!

Could anyone recommend any foreign MCs, American or otherwise, cause I've yet to find anyone to rival Storm, Whizz & Wotsee

Who does have the biggest Hardcore Industry?
