Yes, nakatomi are Vengaboys before they went commercial.

If hardcore was to hit the likes of MTV, it should kill the scene i think, as most others think aswell.
All music that hits MTV, it ruins it.
Hard Dance was very underground, now it's all over MTV, didn't take off as big as they wanted i don't think, but alot of it has gone to commercial.

doesnt kill anything, 100 poor happy hardcore songs that barely get radio play doesnt effect a scene at all
If poorly made songs ruined scene's, then the 10,000 crap teen rock songs released every year would kill local school bands, and the pop scene would of been dead 10years ago

^^^^ Nicely played.

The fact is that the artists decided they would pop it up, make video clips and the like. Perhaps rant on the artists rather than the scene?

most of those tracks aren't poorly made, their where released when Euro-dance had it's prime moments.

... and why the fcuk are you posting about old tracks? we already know that hardcore died once, why dont you tell us the newer tracks that might kill the hardcore scene? *cough raverbaby cough*

Keep your knickers on. It was simply a post from another forum which seemed interesting. I never knew they made video's for some hardcore songs. I'm just saying, if hardcore went commercial, old or new, it wouldn't go down well.

At the end of the day these are old songs, old videos, from countries where hardcore was quite comercial at the time anyway. Doesn't effect anything.

Ha! Those videos are great! Paul Elstak's vids are my favorite of the bunch. Mtv used to have a decent show called amp from the mid 90's that played mainstream electronic music videos, but I've never seen any hardcore on there. Mtv here in the US is now 90% reality type shows, and 10% Pop/RnB/Rap videos. Most regular people here don't even have a clue about what happyhardcore is. But if mtv played anything rave related I'd probably watch it more often.

i agree about MTV turning music into shit. I can die a happy man if they dont play a video for every song thats "hot". screw em.

I still don't know what happened with mtv, I loved it back in the 80s/early 90s...about the time I got to college it was tripe
