persoanlly, it takes me alot to hit someone in the face or beat them up. i would of just shook that off and got on with it, but you have to remember, some people dont let themselvs be pushed around too much, which is in my opinion, the right way. You shoudlnt let people mess with you, no one has the right to push you around..

i dont no about u levzi, but i find being called a junkie EXTREMELY offensive n insulting. jkunkies are the lowest of the low, scumbag p.o.s, cancer on society, and being likend to one isnt something appreciate.
do u often let people abuse n degrade u because u dont feel that reacting is the right thing to do?
thats rather harsh. i take it you've never known a junkie personally.
I think that Jester more or less had it spot on, and if a junkie heard you say that you would probably get quite a bit more than a punch in the face - as you said: if someone says or does something disrespectful to me snip the way they find out about it is proportional to what they say/do. As far as disrespect goes i think you pretty much nailed every stereotype in the book.
I was at a party one night and a friend of mine was maggot as **** and wanted to try ice. Three of us had to convince him not to coz we knew his personality and we knew that he would be hooked in one go, coz he wouldnt try and fight the cravings. He's hardly the lowest of the low, a scumbag pos, or the cancer of society. hes a good guy with a good job who doesnt want to resist addictions.
as a matter of fact, some of my best friends used to be junkies, and they even admit that they wouldnt associate with the people they were back then. i'm not sure about influx, but my reason for despising junkies is based around personal experience.
but ultimately it comes down to exactly what he said: having the courage to stand up for your beliefs.
lol and ionosphere, if electricity was no more, i'm sure there'd be some of us out there who try to find a way to keep hardcore alive! :P
accoustic hardcore FTW! :P

I hate when people say it's just about drugs.

bitch bitch bitch...... yeah yeah yeah... we get it.
I don't like stereotypes as much as anyone but....
Sorry to be blunt but stereotypes are just a part of life. How many people here would see someone down the street dressed up in all black etc and instantly assume they listen to death metal?
Every music genre that moves away from the norm seems to have its stereotypes that are associated with it. You cant convince everyone in the world that its not about drugs or whatever, the most important thing is that you enjoy the music for what it is. If you love it then thats all that matters.
Everyone has different tastes, I see where people are coming from and yes it frustrates me as well. But its not really a big deal is it? just worry about yourself not anyone else!
But I totally agree with jesters comments. He is spot on.

I have an idea, let's all not give a shit!
...i jest :P
Honestly though you can worry about what someone else says for the rest of your life and stress about it, or you can just not care and let it go, because it really does mean bollocks all. I know what i'd rather do!
