i wasnt on about the sound i was on about mixing if you can mix it shouldnt matter if its 33 or 45 & iv been buying vinyl since 98

i find it harder to mix 33's. I can do it, but it's harder.

the same way i find it harder to run a mile than to walk a mile. i can still do both, but that doesn't change the fact that running is harder.

fair enough then but you shouldnt find it harder with 33's as i said above mixing is to do with bpm not rpm.

here guys what the hell r u,s on about ha ha,as i,m not a dj i don,t understand what 45 & 33 is all about,but my mate used 2 have a set of decks and i used 2 mess about on them,but he only had trance tracks,and i used 2 speed them up 2 as fast as i cud(cus i luv the core)and try and mix,but he used 2 crack up saying the songs sounded like the smurfs ha ha,well buy some hardcore records i said u tosser

what? not really.. i can mix different bpms fine, i just use the platter a lot and the way in which touching the platter alters the record is very different between a 33 and a 45...

umm, yeah it will since the record is spinning like 35% slower
...but my brain is trained to deal with that, it comes wtih practice

I also ride the pitch if the record is too sensitive so it's not a big deal to me - some mixing styles are more versatile...that doesn't mean the guy is wrong though (he definitely isn't)
