I agree on that alot! Crime has dropped alot in some areas in the states thanks to them getting tough! They say New York is alot safer now than it was 15 years ago but London could be alot worse... don't america and other countries who use the death penalty have the highest figures for crime? not really much of a deterant is it? and i'm pretty sure violent crime in britain has also decreased, and peodos haven't just popped up out of thin air. there's alot more media coverage and people telling you there are bad people everywhere you look but i doubt that crime has really shot up the way everyone seems to think it has.
back on topic, i can't see why the americans would hate the english, or why the english would hate the americans, it seems we're all united as one in our hatred for the french!

WWE arena's are just hicks and borderline retards. They love the stereotype of anyone not American being the heel. Used to watch it when I was younger for like 4-5 years and only 2 middle-easterns that were brought in were portrayed as like fundamentalist Muslim's that were basically just the 'Derka-Derka' guys from 'Team America'.
However during the Hatton Vs. Mayweather fight the English fans also booed 'God Bless America' when it was being sung. Think that was more to do with hating Mayweather rather than America though.

yeh were english so we all drink tea and have afternoon lunch in our big manors while singing our national anthem and talking to our butlers about how good we are at shooting..

I'm sorry!
I go to the states every year (Dallas TX) and i get loads of attention, they seem to like it, always asking me about London (ive only been twice).
However, the yanks associate the English accent as being posh, or kind of semi-posh (Midlands, Buckinghamshire, Gloucester etc). It's true, but up here in the north we have a really strong scruffy accent thats completely different, so when i go i get mistaken for being Irish, i'm thinking "you cheeky c**ts" haha (but obviously they don't know, so i let them off).
Another thing, they are very very patriotic (like those guys post on the first page), nothing like you see from the citizens of jolly ol' england. It's a bit cheesy/annoying to the average foreigner. It's like "WOOOO U...S....A, U.....S.....A, Red White and Blue this and God Bless that" The English, being the miserable sods we are think yanks are over the top when it comes to comedy and well..... general life......it's quite true.
Concluding, i like America, infact i love it, and by saying that i hope i don't inflate their heads any more or something's gonna burst! And i think they like us to, it's just BANTER between to countries of similar interests and way of life, thats all.
