i personally love england. was just back there recently for the 2nd time and had been considering going to uni there.
i applied and had been accepted in a number of them...but realized it wouldn't be the wisest decision to go, despite the amazing experience i'd have. i would come out in $100,000 in debt. =/ but i'm planning to go back eventually and stay for a bit. =)
anyone willing to send me over a box of chocolate fingers and maybe a little something from thorntons?? would be totally appreciated!!

$100 000???? You should try looking into different uni's! I know lots of people who have started with litterally nothing and gained / funded a university degree off their own back

well the unis i like and were accepted include: university of the arts: camberwell & chelsea, creative arts: farham, birmingham uni, this one in leicester and manc met.
everything adds up, and mind you what you guys have to pay is waaayyyy cheaper then what i'd have to pay. like for one of the courses at a school, foundation year is free for residents where i'd have to pay a fair amount. i was like what!!?? plus exchange rate eats up all of my money and the economy's doin shite.

definitely not for when you're going to school for art. =P
*coughs* starving artist
hmm i'm so confused right now. cos i just looked at the tuition for the school that i will be going to and it's like 50k a year...100k by year 2...
iunno. all that i know is my mom said it'll cost a lot of money to stay in england and at that moment, my world was too crushed too look at the actual numbers and i took her word like a dumbass. and now that i think of it, she could have exagerrated stuff because i know she does want me to stay in new york. damn it =/

you would be better getting advice from people who are in the know.. im sure my sister said tuition fees were around 3 or £4000 per year. if you do house sharing then you are going to dramatically reduce your costs. id say its definatly do - able for less than £12500 a year. you could probably earn that much with a night time / part time job anyway and not need to exchange any money at all
