and yes..... I do know much of hardcore..

The original Hardcore sound was a progression from house that happened around 1989. Hardcore borrowed sounds from trance around 1999 to make a new sound and that really took over as the main UK Hardcore sound around 2000-2001.
I've not gone into Trancecore/Freeform but I'm guessing that's not what you're talking about.
Hardcore, House & Trance are all dance genres...

to a certain extent hardcore is a dance genre.. dont forget tho, theres more than uk hardcore thats hardcore...i would'nt really put gabba, industrail hardcore, speedcore or terrorcore in the same catogory as uk hardcore ( dance music genre wise) even tho its all just hardcore!!
