innit, sawney bean... you get a trance tune.... timestretch it or pitch it up to 170/180 bpm and listen to how oll the beats go out of sync... for a start, you have to replace the beats when speedin up a trance tune...

imo Bonkers X is one of the best of the newer ones! Sharkey's mix had alot of breakbeat tracks such as DJ Ham's Kinda Funky & tracks with hard kicks such as Marc Smith's Revival which is as good as my Bouncy Techno favorites & it is a shame few people picked up on the revival! CLSM's 'Sound of the future' is alos a beast of a tune! Scott Brown's mix had some good tracks like Hardcore Hustler & Hixxy's mix I only listened to once!

I thought it was pretty well sorted out in the previous topic on the subject, but I guess that this kind of sceptiscism about upfront hardcore has always been and always will be.
The point is the fate of hardcore isn't decided by a single album series, or by a single record label either. I really don't see the need to panic here. producers and album series change distributors all the time...

"If you look youll see, its one huge conspiracy (hope someone catches that)"
*caught*
As for Bonkers 17 meaning freeform has become "soft" actually it's got closer to it's ethos by being errm.. freeform. Varied. You know, epic, dark, light, fluffy, pounding.
I like "UK Hardcore" in many of it's guises, but few subgenres can hold my interest indefinitely. I thought the inherent stylistic chopping and changing on Bonkers 17 made it one of the best volumes in eons. That, and the fact that it actually showcased some new + different people instead of shamelessly pimping the wares of each camp involved.
*shrugs*

this is stupid and off topic...
yes AATW may be taking on Bonkers as expressed in 100 other threads,
AND YES you are sawney bean and u are not very subtle and this is a poor excuse to start an argument...
