tbh "sleep" is tricky because..on one side of things i want it to be cube:hard and on the other side, i could explode it into some freeform thing
either way, its the getting the beats sounding right..and working out where im going to take it..at the moment its...about 3mins long..
the other one that is actually finished - is Flux

i have fixed the synths a little, and the kick is fixed, doesnt sound as bad as it does in this older sample...
but the bass sucks balls, i need to get a more freeformy bass i guess, and the track all round needs work and possibly re-arranging a little...

This is sounding good IMO trubass. Its got real potential & has a nice, crisp sounding bass & beat that flow well together.
Keep working on this with what time you have left m8 & see how you get on. The deadline is 1st March so theres still a fair few days to go
Also, like you say, the vocals need to be a bit louder, I think

Rowan, both these tracks are sounding great so far mate & have HUGE potential! Get stuck in over the next 10 days or so & see how things go but great work & can't wait to hear these finished

@ Triquatra: That Sleep tune sounds like its got some real potential. IMO, although i love my breaks (really love em), i think this would make for an amazing freeform track. Looking forward to hearing the end result whatever direction you take it in.
Is it sampled from something? I mean like the vocals where did they come from etc.?
@ trubass: Dunno what to say tbh. The breakdown is pretty nice, love all the little changes and the breaks! But outside the breakdown it does get a bit bland and like Ken said the vocals need to be louder, but nice work for just a days labour. With a bit more work could be a really good track.

Another question, those tracks that don't make it on the CD, are they going to be put in a folder and put up for download as unmixed tracks?
