Pic to follow in a few days

one of my friends owns one, very fun mixer. a lot easier to crab on than my djm 600...but then again I really don't use the 600 for turntableism =P

Mate of mine spins Techno /Tech House stuff and has one - he always rates it very highly to the point where I would quite like one!

what's the white stuff?
and dude, you have a SHIT load of money if you can afford drugs, a place to live, and all that fine gear!
i scrape by as a student. i wish i had 200$ to spare in a given month.
i just really cannot wrap my mind around how people like cotts and many of the people who posted their set-ups can afford this shit.
do you own it, or are you paying it off? i really just cannot fathom how someone can come up with the 5 grand it would cost for some of this stuff!

I have a DJM 800, it's great :)
However, I've had to play on the xone62 (I hate that) and the xone92 (I hate it slightly less) many times. IMO, it's really not suited to hardcore.
The 4 band EQ is useless for hardcore, the faders are too long, the knobs are too close together, etc.
The only good thing about it are the filters.
Here's my setup:

and the studio:

Gear:
KRK RP-8 monitors
KRK RP-10 Sub
Saffire LE FW interface
Apex460 Mic
Mackie CR-1604 Mixer
Valley 440 Compressor
Behringer Virtualizer Pro
Roland HS-60
CME UF-60
Futureretro FR-777
Behringer B2031 monitors
Behringer B2031A monitors
Pioneer DJM-800
Technics SL-1210 M5Gs with Shure Whitelabels
American DJ DCD-PRO400
Pioneer HDJ-1000
Sony MDR-V700
Audio Technica ATH-M50
AKG K240s
Macbook Pro

Well, I've probably spent 30,000$ on records and 10,000$ on gear, if not more.
...I'm 21 and I'm a University student.
I'm not rich or anything, I just work alot to pay for this stuff. When you're not spending money on drugs it's not that hard to save up :P
Plus, I assume alot of people here are like me, and they've been mixing for 6-7-8 years ...spread out over 8 years it's really not all that much money.
