all his music sounds the same. for ****s sake he always uses the same shitty bass, beats, and synths.

rap lyrics added that don't fit whatsoever. i'm surprised he hasn't sampled from soulja boy yet. because that's right around his level of talent. none.

the [insert gabber here] to make it official, this shit was produced by scott brown.

everything he's made since 2000 has been the shittiest possible commercialcore.

everything he's made since 2005 has been shitty commercialcore but without any creativity it's just the same **** juice over and over - vec beats and precussion, stock synths and bass that come with vanguard or something, oh yea and rap lyrics.

all of the melodies he comes up with are usually stolen.

scott Brown is like walmart. there's no creativity and every week you turn around and there's another cheap shitty knockoff of something you like.

all the drooling fanboys that want to suck him off. OH EM GEE IT'S THE LEGENDARY SCOTT BROWN!!!!!11111 XDDDDDDDDDDDD

he should just start making electro and djing at rich little girl's parties or something because that's where he belongs!!

It's hard to take you seriously here after that scott brownie thing...

Usually I hear a variety of synths and bass. The beats are usually the same though, but then again using VEC seems to be a pastime in hardcore nowadays.

I don't see what's wrong with adding in lyrics from hip hop. A lot of producers do this with some of their tracks.

You mean putting gabber into happy hardcore? What the **** is wrong with that? Other producers do this too.

I admit that he is kind of beating the style to death (make the beat drop, neckbreaker, gangbang society, life as we know it, aurora, taking drugs, god's child, etc. etc. etc. etc.). But I don't think it's exactly shitty so to speak.

Uh...

Could you possibly cite some sources or proof or something??

He has been and still is a major name of hardcore. Of course people think he's legendary. IMO he is.

scott brown isn't a legend he's what's killing the scene along with hixxy, dougal, gammer, breeze, styles, and weaver. if he wants to support hardcore he should quit it or just throw himself in front of a bus. either would be fine. talentless ****.

i'm hoping some non-fanboys will be willing to reply soon.

Second:

What have you done for "the scene" that's had even a tenth of the significance that Scott Brown has made over the last 15 years or so?

Although I agree that he does need to change his sound and style a bit that is no reason to slate him like the way you have.

Come back in 15 years and lets talk about what you've done for the "scene" hey.

its pretty obvious. 95 announced his last post on my thread, anyone with an ambition of returning doesnt do this. scott brown makes fantastic music and has contributed to the scene just as much as any of your favourite dj's or producer's, if not, more!
as Q-Tex(?), his music was old skool, so how can you hate him so much. i though that 95' was the time... he was making tunes at that time :S

Either this guy is trollin' hard or he's retarted.
Elysium, to this very day, remains my favorite hardcore lead.
He continues to smash up dj sets as well as create realiably interesting and clever tracks.
I am definitely looking forward to seeing him in Feb. down in San Francisco.
