I was round my mate's last night & I saw an advert for Hardcore Nation 2009 which had the usual dated Trancy vocal Hardcore & remixes of pop & Dance tunes (also Infinity 2008)
Then later I saw an advert for Wigan Pier- Bounce which sounded the same, remixes of pop tunes again! Whats going on? Isn't Hardcore meant to be hard?

Not another one of these threads
Like or not hardcore has had remix's of pop & dance tracks from the very start. Dance has always had remix's of pop & hardcore...it's not a new thing.
I've got a request to make: please can we make a sticky thread slating hardcore for being to commercial and having remix's so we don't keep on gettin inundated with these kind of threads!

i agree. Change the thred name to 'hardcore for whingers' and sticky it. Hardcore goes with the times, always has, always will. Deal with it or stop listening to it plus plenty of hard music around, and just not hardcore

nope, freeform and gabber's supposed to be hard, hardcore has always been kinda girly and "happy" :)
There was a time when Hardcore was both happy and hard ;)
Agreed though there are way too many of these topics.
The only thing im wondering now is. With wigan pier finally getting a commercial release, will the existing members of the donk scene moan like we do about it attracting chavvy undesirables lol.

Isn't it pretty obvious! The Ministry of sound have slipped horribly & using the rights they have to old tracks, their remixing them across the dance genres to basically rip every penny they can from them.
I just can't understand why anyone would want to buy these CD's that they churn out every other month! Its only because fools buy them that the rest of us have to suffer!
I mean, what was the last hardcore tune that Sash made!?!
